From Paris Social Club | Do what you love, meet great people
4.7

A social photo-walk through Paris: grab your phone and take pictures of the streets of Paris while you meet cool people. Along the way, you'll get paired with a photo partner, someone to shoot with and get creative with. We'll rotate partners along the way so you get to walk with different people. Each person picks a color to focus on. As you walk, keep an eye out for it, in details, light, objects, anything that catches your attention, and capture it in your own way. We'll make a quick stop at the supermarket for drinks and snacks before heading to Buttes-Chaumont. Once we're there, we grab a spot in the park, go through everyone's photos together, share your favorites, vote on the best ones, and enjoy golden hour with a drink. At the end, everyone submits their best shot. The best photo wins a secret prize 🤫 Schedule 📍 16h00 — Meet at Métro République (Exit Place de la République, number 1) 📸 16h10 — Partners assigned, walk begins 🚶 16h10–17h30 — Canal Saint-Martin → Buttes-Chaumont 🛒 17h30 — Quick supermarket stop 🌅 17h30–18h00 — Golden hour at the park, share your best shots 🏆 18h00 — Vote on the best photos & wrap-up ## **Who are we?** We're Hold My Club, a community that brings people together through creative and social events. We believe meeting new people should feel natural. So we create the right setting and help you stay connected with people who share your interests.

Frequently asked questions

Foraging walks are guided tours where participants learn about edible plants, mushrooms, and herbs in their natural habitats. In Paris, these walks offer a unique way to connect with nature, discover local flora, and gain practical knowledge about sustainable foraging.

To find foraging events in Paris, use Meetup to search for groups and events dedicated to nature exploration. By joining a local foraging group, you'll get updates on all upcoming walks and be part of a community of nature enthusiasts.

Check Meetup for the latest schedule of foraging walks in Paris. You'll see which events are happening today or soon, allowing you to plan your nature adventure accordingly. Make sure to RSVP if you plan to join.

No prior knowledge is typically required to join a foraging walk. These events are often beginner-friendly and designed to teach participants about local plants and their uses. Experienced guides will lead you through the process of identifying edible flora safely.

Foraging walks are generally safe when led by knowledgeable guides who teach participants to safely identify plants. However, participants should follow guidelines provided to avoid picking or consuming anything without certainty of its safety.

Not all plants discovered during walks are edible. A key aspect of foraging walks is to educate participants on distinguishing plants that are safe for consumption from those that are not, under expert guidance.

Most foraging events will be outdoors to fully explore natural environments. However, weather and season can influence exact locations or timing, with alternative venues discussed by organizers if needed.

Meetup allows participants to join groups where they can interact with other enthusiasts, share experiences, or plan informal meet-ups or extra activities outside of official events.

Event availability depends on seasonality and group organizers. Many foraging walks are more frequent during the spring and summer months when flora is abundant, although some opportunities still exist in other seasons.
