This sweet Meetup group is going away! Meet up is too expensive for the number of events I can host right now. This account will go away on September 10th, but on September 17th at 6pm, I want to host a final walk! Come meet some new people who are interested in empathy exchange or German learning and celebrate this project and learn about its pause and hopes for the future. Email me at walksinberlin@gmail.com if you want to join!

Walk around the Tegeler See/Forst

Walk around the Tegeler See/Forst

Sat, Sep 12, 9:00 AM
From Berlin LGBT Social Club
4.7

As the next event in our hiking series, we will walk in the vicinity of the Tegeler See and Tegeler Forst. We will meet just outside U-Alt-Tegel station at 11:00. Please don't be late! You should expect to be back at U-Alt-Tegel earliest at 16:30. Note that U-Alt-Tegel is still closed, so if you take the U6, you'll have to switch to a bus at Kurt-Schumacher-Platz. Alternatively take the S-Bahn to S-Tegel. This will be a fairly lengthy hike - approximately 17 km in total, although it is on almost completely flat ground. At about 8 km we will reach an area with a few cafes, so we might be able to stop for some food or a drink, if there's space. But I'd suggest bringing a sandwich. Definitely bring water. Please bring water, sun-screen and appropriate clothing/shoes. You will also need a BVG ticket (covering zone B). Well behaved animals are of course welcome!

**Special Meetup & Karaoke Event! 🌍🎤** While we usually gather at a&o Friedrichshain, we're excited to host another event at a&o Berlin HBF, a special kickoff evening bringing travelers and locals together in a brand-new space. Whether you're flying solo, exploring the city, or simply looking to expand your circle, this is the perfect place to connect. Here's what awaits you at our new HBF location: **Global Connections:** Meet, chat, and play with friendly people from around the world in a warm, relaxed atmosphere. **Mic & Games:** Regular board games as usual, then at 7:30 PM we join the A&O team's event with optional karaoke, quizzes, and games. **Good Vibes & Drinks:** Enjoy coffee, cocktails, bar snacks, and great music in a lively, no-pressure setting. **RSVP & Seating:** We request you to RSVP; an accurate headcount helps us coordinate. **How to find us at Berlin HBF (Shortcut Path):** When arriving at Berlin Central Station, skip the long detour along Lehrter Straße! You can take a much quicker walking shortcut: Head out of the station and cross over to Minna-Cauer-Straße. Cut straight through the open park area alongside the Geschichtspark Zellengefängnis Moabit. Follow the path directly to the entrance of the hostel on Lehrter Straße. It cuts the walk down significantly! 🎟️ Free entry – just bring your good mood. Let's make our HBF debut unforgettable! ☺️
