Writing Group Berlin ✍️ | FIRST DRAFT — Write Your Book Together
Sat, Sep 5, 1:00 PM✍️ FIRST DRAFT | Our First Writing Meetup Hi, I’m Khushboo Sangwan, a left-handed creative writer and project manager living in Berlin. I’ve always dreamed of writing a book. 📖 But somehow, life keeps getting in the way. Work, responsibilities, other plans, and suddenly another year has passed and that first draft is still sitting somewhere in your head. 💻 I know how difficult it is to stay consistent when you’re doing it alone. ✍️ So I decided to stop waiting for the perfect time and create the kind of writing group I wished I had. And I’m not going to sit there and tell you what to do while you write. I’ll be writing my own book with you. 📕 Every Saturday, we’ll meet for focused writing time, take a couple of short breaks, and then spend some time talking about what we’re working on, helping each other through creative blocks and figuring out what comes next. 📚💡 I’ll also help you look at your book like a creative project. We can talk about planning, timelines, accountability, Notion, finishing your first draft and, eventually, how to start thinking about literary agents and getting published. 📑 Our first session 15:00 Arrive & settle in 15:10–16:00 Writing sprint ⏳ 16:00–16:10 Break 💛 16:10–17:00 Writing sprint ⏳ 17:00–17:10 Break 💛 17:10–18:00 Writing sprint ⏳ 18:00–18:30 Discussion, brainstorming & support 💬 This is completely free. I’m starting this because I genuinely believe that we can finish our books if we stop trying to do it alone. I want to see your first draft in your hands six months from now. 🍀 And I want mine there too. 📖 If you’ve been dreaming about becoming an author and you’re serious about finally doing something about it, come join me. ❤️ Bring your laptop. Bring your unfinished story. Bring the idea that’s been sitting in your head for years. Let’s write our books together. And let’s see if, six months from now, we can call ourselves published authors. ✍️

Outdoor – Circular route around the Spring- and Glubigsee near Wendisch-Rietz
Sun, Aug 30, 9:00 AM**Outdoor – Forest and lake along the Havel** with ***Harms*** and ***Thomas*** **Free with registration** **Meeting point: 10:45 Uh**r, Ostbahnhof, platform 2, middle of platform **Start: 10:56 a.m.**, RE7 direction Senftenberg **(please be on time – the train only runs hourly)** **Return:** Wendisch Rietz, Bahnhof (RB36) **[Free with registration](https://wearevillage.org/en/shop/village-outdoor/w35-2026/)** In August, we’ll head out of the city once more and into the heathland and lake district of eastern Brandenburg near Wendisch Rietz. On this varied circular hike, we’ll explore a chain of elongated lakes in the Behrensdorfer Heide. The quiet and, at times, very secluded trail follows the wooded shores of Lake Springsee and Lake Großer Glubigsee, for much of the route, offering beautiful views of the surrounding nature. Along the way, we’ll also pass through an interesting wet woodland area, a valuable ecosystem that plays an important role in climate protection and nature conservation. And if the weather is on our side, the many lakeside bathing spots invite us to enjoy a refreshing swim or simply relax by the water. As there are no guaranteed places to stop for food or drinks along the route, please bring enough food and water for the day. Since we’ll be walking through woodland and wetland areas, it’s also a good idea to bring an effective insect repellent. **What’s Village Outdoor?** Village outdoor Events are monthly meetups for the we are village community and their friends to enjoy outdoor activities in and around Berlin. Activities include forest hikes, bike tours, swimming in lakes, sightseeing, and kayaking. Each month features a free and easy walk or hike in Berlin or its surrounding areas, accessible by public transport. **General Information** **Be sun smart:** Please dont forget sun screen, a hat and maybe even a long-sleeved shirt. On a hot day, also remember to bring plenty of water. **Language:** Depending on the needs of the group, we will speak German and/or English. **Cost:** The event is free of charge. Mobility Yoga :) Optional Bouldering after
Tue, Sep 1, 5:00 PMSpot needs to be booked [here via this link 🌻](https://gyms.vertical-life.info/urban-apes-fhain/events/9058/list) (not via meetup!) You‘re new to Berlin or already here for a while and want to practice yoga with others in a relaxed atmosphere? Or looking to explore a cool place to get to know new people and have the option to go bouldering or hangout after the class for a drink? This all-levels yoga class is happening every two weeks at the Bouldering Gym Urban Apes Friedrichshain. We flow together through some yoga, practice specific mobility exercises and after the class you could decide to try out bouldering in the gym. :) No yoga or climbing experience needed! No flexibility needed! Just come as you are. Poses and Flows are explained and we flow in a relaxed pace, leaving room for play, mistakes, learning and joy :-) Also a good way to practice English and connect to people with different backgrounds. **Important:** The yoga class is 5€ (Booking via the Link, NOT via Meetup). If you want to go Bouldering too, you can check in via USC and Wellpass for free or have to pay the regular entrance fee. But of course you can also only come for the yoga class and not pay the bouldering entry :) Class starts 19pm sharp - arrive 15 min before the class starts, so you have enough time to check in and change. Mats and blankets at the Gym. [Book your spot via this link 🌻](https://gyms.vertical-life.info/urban-apes-fhain/events/9058/list) How to find the Room: First go to the counter. From there go right. Yoga Room is next to the Womens Changing Room. If you can’t find it, ask at the counter. (Little tipp: take a screenshot of this for later)
