Join us for an evening of **harbour** **sunset bushwalk, covering around 11 kilometres through streets, parks, and reserves, showcasing some of the North Shore's scenic sights.** Be aware that this 2.5-hour moderate-paced walk with brief stops has multiple stairs and inclines, so good fitness is recommended. **Here's what you need to know:** * **Start time:** 4:00 PM sharp, please arrive by 3:50 PM. * **Meeting point:** North Sydney Station, Blue St, Stand C **Finish around 6:30 PM,** Crows Nest, with optional dinner. * **Route:** We’ll start with a street walk to Berry Island, then follow the Gore Creek bushwalk towards Greenwich, continuing along the creek past Bob Campbell Oval. Walk follows the coastline south, round Cape Solander, to Cape Bailey lighthouse and back. **Meet** near the Park entrance sign (Captain Cook Dr/Polo St, Kurnell). Embark on a full-day exploration of Garigal National Park and the stunning Middle Harbour Creek, right here in the city! This challenging trek covers over 22km (map and offline route in TrekMeet), offering an incredible mix of deep bushland, waterside views, and historic sites. Good fitness is essential, as we will maintain a steady pace of around 4km/h with short breaks. Before you RSVP, be sure to read the full description: * **Difficulty and Terrain:** Medium to Hard. Expect mostly rugged bushland and harbourside tracks connected by a few paved streets and reserves, featuring multiple steep elevation gains. * **Start:** 9:00 AM sharp at the Spit West Reserve Bus Stop (please arrive 5-10 minutes early so we can head off on time). **Finish:** Lindfield Station. * **Route:** We will follow the famous Harbour to Hawkesbury track, venturing into Garigal National Park to skirt the scenic edges of Bantry Bay and follow Middle Harbour Creek. 🌈 GRAND CLIFF TOP WALK - Leura to Wentworth Falls via Charles Darwin Walk 🌲

So, don’t miss out! 🌲 🍁 ⚠️ FOR YOUR SAFETY & ENJOYMENT, PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION BELOW FULLY BEFORE YOU CLICK ‘Attend’! ******************************************** 🗓 DATE: Saturday, 29 August 2026. ⏰ MEETING TIME: 10.25am. 🚊 MEETING POINT: Leura station - at the entry/exit on top of the stairs after tap on/off. 🚆 END POINT: Wenworth Falls station. ******************************************** 🥾 DISTANCE: 13.5km - point to point. 🥾 GRADE: mostly Moderate/slightly Hard on a steady pace, not snail pace! 💪🏽 Reasonable fitness recommended due to uneven rocky surfaces, ups and downs hills, lots and lots of stairs, creek crossings, rocks scrambling, fallen trees and a bit of bush bashing at few overgrown sections. 💪🏽 Tracks expected to be wet, muddy and slippery in parts. 🚶‍♂️Few get-out points along the way that you may leave at anytime. ******************************************** 📸 WHAT TO EXPECT: 🚶‍♂️The Grand Cliff Top Walk is a scenic 19-kilometre walking experience in the Blue Mountains National Park linking Wentworth Falls, Leura and Katoomba. 🚶‍♀️Upon arrival at Leura station, we will proceed immediately along the Mall to few gorgeous lookouts for photos and selfies. 🚶We’ll continue our adventure down towards Pool of Siloam. Then up towards Wentworth Falls station stopping at few awesome lookouts and beautiful waterfalls.
