🌟 Welcome to Your Transformational 2026 A year that isn’t just new — it’s yours to design. 2026 has arrived, and it’s asking you one simple, electrifying question: Who do you want to become from here? This is your moment to pause, breathe, and imagine the version of you that’s been waiting to step forward. Ask yourself: - How will I describe 2026 when it’s over? - What shifts do I want to see in my life? - How do I want to grow, evolve, and expand? - What emotions do I want to live in this year? Because the truth is: ✨ Your future is shaped by the habits you choose today. They are the bridge between where you stand and the life you’re dreaming of. If you’re ready for a year of transformation — a year where you rise, change, stretch, and never look back — then you’re in the right place. This is a space for people who are choosing growth on purpose. A community of humans who are rewriting their stories, building new habits, and cheering each other on through every breakthrough and every wobble. Together, we’ll share our journeys, our lessons, our wins, and the moments we overcame what once held us back. Together, we’ll create a 2026 that feels bold, expansive, and deeply aligned. If you’re ready to step into the most intentional, empowered version of yourself — welcome. This is where your transformation begins.

Thu, Jun 4, 12:00 AM
From Aussie Explorers

MEETING: Central Station 10am. Platform 25, though this may change Or Tempe Station at 10:15 🌸✈️🌸 TIME: 10am Central 10:15 Tempe 🌸⏰🌸 DETAILS: Feel like you’re the only one not heading to Europe for the Winter? Problem solved…. The glorious white sands of Sans Souci and Dolls Point will fix that! We walk from Tempe Station via Kendrick Park and the Cooks River, Cahill Park, Riverine Park, Cahill Park, the Chinese Vegetable and Produce Gardens via Muddy Creek then hit the Coast at Brighton Le Sands…. Our first glimpse of the white sand, and a few aircraft taking off. The coastal walk from there to Dolls Point is easy, flat and paved. This walk has the added bonus of the St George Sailing Club if you’re thirsty and want to take in more of the view at the finish. There’s a regular bus service to Kogorah Station from the finish 🌸⛱🌸 LUNCH: Always best to BYO, though there is a cafe at Brighton, where we will have lunch 🌸🍽🌸 COST:💲5️⃣ cash gratuity or (donation)for this walk.💵 🌸💲🌸 DISTANCE: 1️⃣4️⃣kms 🌸🦋🌸 THIS WALK IS GRADED AS: Most enjoyable, and easier to get to than Europe. ✈️ 🌸☀️🌸 GET OUT POINTS: the entire way 🌸🚦🌸 TRANSPORT: Train to Tempe Bus from Sans Souci to Kogorah Station 🌸✈️🌸 IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BRING A FRIEND PLEASE MESSAGE ME, unfortunately only the 2 legged kind, and not the 4 legged kind are included. 🌸🥰🌸 A heads up for newcomers and first timers. Our walking group is a fabulous Melting Pot of cultures, backgrounds, professions and life experiences. We love our Walks. We are INCLUSIVE OF EVERYONE………if you’re: kind, nice, fun, polite and respectful. 🌸😘🌸 On that note…. In recent times my walks are at capacity, which I’m capping at 40. Regulars, regardless of numbers are always welcome….just PM me if you’re on a waitlist. 🌸♥️🌸 We walk at a medium pace of 4kms per hour, stopping for breaks and to take in the views. It is a reasonable expectation that the group stays together. It is your responsibility to stay in line of sight. If you cannot walk at this pace, I will let you know of the next get out point. This is not negotiable. 🌸🐌🌸 As this is a walking group, bikes, ebikes, scooters, escooters, and pogo sticks are not compatible or welcome. 🌸👣🌸 Grading for my walks:
Easy: Mainly flat, suburban, loads of get out points, up to 14kms.
Easy-Medium: some stairs, a few uneven surfaces, up to 15kms.
Medium: Stairs, rocks, coastal beaches/sand, ups, downs, get out points limited, up to 17kms
Medium-Hard: uneven surfaces, need to take extreme care and be hike fit. Few get out points. Tracks, uneven surfaces, steep inclinations and limited resources. 🌸👯‍♀️🌸 WALKING GUIDELINES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Carry sufficient food and water (2 litres) for the expected conditions of the walk. Pls don’t separate from the group, unless you let someone know, preferably me. The waitlist is completely discretionary….reliable regulars will ALWAYS be included. 🆗……….If you are a no show, you will not be welcome to join a future walk with me. (It’s a courtesy kind of thing). If people are on the waitlist, it is also very inconsiderate. Marking yourself as “Not Going” within 2 hours of departure does not allow reasonable time to notify anyone on the waitlist. 🌸🙅‍♀️🌸 On the odd occasion, the walk may change from the schedule, due to weather, unforeseen track obstacles OR emergency situations. 🌸🤞🌸 Please make sure your conversation is always courteous to other group members. 🌸😍🌸 PS…. IF YOUR ID PIC IS OF A COFFEE CUP, YOUR DOG OR CAT, A VIEW, and not a picture of you…You’ll stay waitlisted. 🌸❌🌸 SAFETY WARNING: Please stay away from cliff edges and be very careful when walking on wet and slippery rocks and surfaces. Stay within sight of the group at all times. 🌸🔴🟢⚫️🟠🔵🟡🟣🟤🌸 DISCLAIMER: Your health and safety is our priority, we take care to minimize risk and avoid accidents and injuries. However, Organizers and Hosts are not responsible for your health and safety and do not accept any liability for accidents and injuries that may occur during Meetup activities and events. Please take responsibility for your own safety and belongings. By RSVP to this event you and your guests agree to comply with the terms and conditions of the Aussie Explorers Meetup group which can be found in the link below: https://www.meetup.com/Aussie-Explorers/pages/28346396/Terms_and_Conditions_of_joining_Aussie_Explorers 🌸☀️🌸 HAPPY WALKING 🍃🌸🌿🌸🌿🌸🍃 xxLisa

We finish off with time to ask questions and have a chat with like-minded people. There is no need to bring anything and chairs are available for your comfort. Frequently asked questions

Meetup facilitates the discovery of local groups and events centered around shared interests. Whether you're into bushcraft or any other hobby, it's a platform to meet like-minded individuals and engage in community gatherings.

To find bushcraft events in Sydney, search for outdoor groups in the area on Meetup. You can then join these groups and get updates on upcoming events, making it easy to participate in the local bushcraft scene.

Yes, you can join multiple groups on Meetup. If bushcraft is one of your interests, you can belong to a bushcraft group as well as other outdoor interest groups, providing a variety of activities and networking opportunities.

Bushcraft events typically welcome all skill levels. Before attending, check the event details for any specific skill requirements, but most organizers cater their activities to include beginners as well as experienced outdoors enthusiasts.

Absolutely! If there's interest in forming a bushcraft group in Sydney, you can start your own Meetup group. This allows you to organize events, gather like-minded individuals, and share your passion for outdoor skills.

Not all Meetup events are outdoors. While bushcraft events may take place in natural settings, the platform also offers a wide range of indoor events across different categories. It's all about connecting with people over shared interests.

Meetup is free to join, but some events may have participation fees. This varies by group and organizer, so check event listings for any cost details. Generally, the opportunity to join groups and discover events is free.

Event frequency depends on the availability and activity of groups in your area. Some bushcraft groups may have regular schedules, while others organize events less frequently. Consider joining multiple groups to increase event options.

RSVPing for an event is usually required to ensure you're accounted for and that the organizers can effectively manage the event details. Be sure to check each event's RSVP policy when planning to attend.

Bushcraft groups operate by organizing events and activities focused on survival skills and outdoor living. They provide knowledge-sharing opportunities and usually include hands-on practice. Group longevity varies by active participation and leadership.

While Meetup increases your chances to connect with others, forming friendships depends on your active participation and engagement. Building connections comes through shared experiences, so attend regularly and interact with other members.

Event safety is often an organizer’s priority, but it’s good to check details and ratings on the Meetup listing. It's essential for participants to follow safety guidelines and ensure personal preparedness for outdoor activities.

Some bushcraft groups might offer online sessions, especially for skills that can be discussed or demonstrated through virtual meetings. However, hands-on practice is better experienced in-person for this particular interest.

In bushcraft, you'll learn varied outdoor survival skills, like shelter-building, fire-making, foraging, and navigation. Each event may cover different aspects, led by experienced organizers keen on sharing knowledge.

The variety of groups is contingent on local demand and interests in Sydney. While there may be many active groups, the choice relies on existing communities, so explore other outdoor or survival-themed groups for broader options.
