⚠️ FOR YOUR SAFETY & ENJOYMENT, PLEASE READ BELOW DESCRIPTION FULLY BEFORE YOU CLICK ‘Attend’! ******************************************** 🗓 DATE: Sunday, 16 August 2026. ⏰ MEETING TIME: 10.10am. ⛴️ START POINT: Watsons Bay Wharf - at the entry/exit after tap on/off. 🚌 END POINT: Bondi Beach bus stop, Campbell Parade. ******************************************** 🥾 DISTANCE: 12km - point to point. 🥾 GRADE: Easy/Moderate on a relaxing pace, not snail pace! 📸 WHAT TO EXPECT: 🚶‍♂️This beautiful coastal walk meanders through beautiful parklands and open spaces and includes an exciting timber walkway with viewing platforms that brings you on top of the cliffs. 🚶The Bondi to Watsons Bay walk (or Watsons Bay to Bondi walk) is essentially the same as the Federation Cliff Walk, but it goes a little further, to Bondi Beach. 🚶‍♂️We will start the exciting adventure from Watsons Bay Wharf to Hornby Lighthouse via Camp Cove Beach for our first photo stop and selfies. 🚶‍♂️We will continue the walk to The Gap, located on the eastern side of Watsons Bay and is one of Sydney’s most famous ocean cliff lookouts with views that are absolutely breathtaking. 👀 From The Gap, we follow the cliff-side path towards the south through Gap Park, leading up to Old South Head Road. The track stays on the road’s footpath for a short while until turning into the Coastal Cliff Walk. 🥪 We will have BYO lunch break at Macquarie Lighthouse overlooking the ocean. 🏙️ We will continue to Diamond Bay Reserve through Dover Heights Reserve. 🏞️ Sunday Botany Bay Coastal Walk: Kurnell to Cronulla ~16 KM

**Join us for a stunning coastal walk along the Kurnell to Cronulla section, through the scenic Botany Bay National Park**. This route offers beautiful ocean views, historical sites, and a cool breeze along much of the path. Afterwards, we’ll relax with a late lunch at German Beerhall in Cronulla. **Good fitness is recommended**, and also some beach walking is involved. **Before you RSVP, be sure to read the following:** * **Difficulty:** Medium to Hard, mostly harbourside with bushlands, rocky surfaces, and some elevation gains. * **Start** at Prince Charles Pde bus stop opp Kurnell Post Office after 9 am. Take 987 from Cronulla Station at 08:45 AM to reach there if using public transport, **finish** at Cronulla Station late afternoon. * **Route:** We’ll start at our meeting point and head to Prince Charles Parade, walking the Monument Track past Captain Cook’s Landing Place. Next, we’ll take the Muru Trail to Cape Solander Lookout, followed by Cape Baily Coastal Track to the lighthouse, Boat Harbour Aquatic Reserve, and a long walk on Cronulla Beach before the finish near the station for an easy train ride home! * **Gratuity:** A $5 contribution is appreciated to help cover our Meetup subscription and group running costs. Follow our rules below.*** 📌V**olleyball Game Rules** * Max 3 hits per team * A block does not count as one of the 3 hits * Encourage passing or setting the ball to your team mates * No double hits (except after a block) * No touching the net * Serve behind the line * Ball out = point to other team * No catching, kicking or throwing the ball * Rotate when your team wins the serve from the opponents * If your team is already serving and wins the point → no rotation * Communication is encouraged to avoid collisions (Say mine! or my ball) * No interference or distraction of the opposing team * Fix the net if loosen * Play safe and communicate with team mates * Help setup/pack up the nets and balls * Do not lose any pins We will be playing 6v6, 5v5, 4v4 at Coogee Beach on rotation so that everyone who attends gets a chance to play. **EASY-PEASY to NEW FISH MARKET WALK from Quay via Barangaroo-Pyrmont** **Beginners Beauty Walk**, perfectly flat all the way! **EASY & BEAUTIFUL SCENIC SYDNEY HARBOUR WALK:** Flat all the way, perfect for beginners. Come on, we need to exercise. Enjoy amazing scenery while walking around the world's most beautiful harbour to Sydney's NEW Fish Market! **CIRCULAR QUAY START:** to "First Fleet Park" past Overseas Passenger Terminal onto Hickson Road Reserve then under **Sydney Harbour Bridge**. **Next:** Walsh Bay, Barangaroo, King Street Wharf Darling Harbour, Sydney Aquarium, over **Pyrmont Bridge** to Maritime Museum, stop for a coffee, rehydrate at Pyrmont Bay. **Keep Walking:** Visit "Life in a Suitcase Monument" through Metcalfe Park onto **Pirrama Park** then Pyrmont Foreshore walk Waterfront Park to **Sydney's New Fish Market**. **Time:** 10am **Meeting Point:** Outside Customs House Courtyard. Whale Watching: Southern Migration: Watsons Bay to Maroubra!!! 18km Medium

**Whale Watching Day!!!Southern Migration: Watson’s Bay to Maroubra 18 km (Medium)** We ferry from Circular Quay to Watsons Bay and commence our walk out of **South Head**, and along the Federation walk, navigating Diamond Bay and Dover Heights before dropping down to **North Bondi.** Leaving Bondi Beach behind, we strike out for Tamarrama and **Bronte**, where we stop for a nice lunch break of 45 minutes. Following lunch we head for Maroubra via **Clovelly and Coogee** Beaches. We stop at **Mistral Point** before marching into Maroubra where we will invade the **Maroubra Seals Club** for a tasty beer (and food if desired - its pretty tasty, I have to say!), before grabbing a bus back to the City. The ocean front scenery on this walk is stunning! Hopefully we will spot **Humpback whales** during the day; it is likely that we will. We should arrive at Maroubra by about 4:00pm. Oh, please make sure you **bring photo ID**, to gain entrance to the Maroubra Seals Club. **Distance:** 18 km **Type of Walk:** This wonderful walk is water, water, all the way! Almost the entire walk is along ocean front promenades. **Difficulty:** Medium, because of the distance. If you are unsure about the distance but would like to test yourself this is a walk for you: there are plenty of get-out points. **Walking Pace:** We will maintain a steady pace all day and average 4.5 km per hour. **Meeting Place and Transport:** We catch the Watsons Bay Ferry from Circular Quay Wharf 2. The Ferry leaves Circular Quay at 9:45 am and arrives at Watsons Bay at 10:08am. Mid-week evening walk - Milsons Point - Cremorne Point loop ~9 km

Bondi to Manly in 7 Stages! - Manly - North Head - Manly! 13.5KM

**Manly - North Head - Manly! 13.5KM** We commence at Circular Quay Ferry **Wharf 3, Side B** to catch the 10:30AM Ferry to Manly, arriving 10:52AM. Quickly underway we skirt East Cove, Little Manly Beach and **Little Manly Point**, before hitting a bush track through to Collins Beach. We avoid the security at the Australian Police management training institute and walk up to North Head Scenic Drive which takes us to the historic **Quarantine Station**, its museum, Café, and toilets where we take **lunch 5KM** into the walk. **Lunch Options: Eat your packed lunch at the Q Station foreshore park where there is seating and a bathroom. Or buy a light lunch at the Q Station Café. The coffee is OK! Spoiled for choice!** After lunch we head for **Fairfax Lookout** and some of the most stunning views of Sydney Harbour; it is very striking. We then traverse the seaward side of North head, with a **Hanging Swamp** along the way and opening up to spectacular views north to the Central Coast; **Norah head Lighthouse - 60KM away - is in view on a clear day**.
