Think sunny beach walks along the shore, watching our pups play in the sand, and real conversations with the girls who get it. Whether it's your first time or you're a regular, this is a judgment-free zone where we show up as ourselvesāfurry friends included. Because the best days include good company, puppies, and the ocean. And if you're hesitant about coming solo? Don't worry. Most of us do.

Berkeley Rock Formations Nature Walk š²šŖØš³
Sat, Sep 19, 5:00 PMMillions of years before the first humans arrived, North Berkeley was strewn with rock formations. Today the area includes lovely parks where remnants of its geologic past can be seen. Come join me on hike with El Cerrito Trail Trekkers has they host and lead us around Berkeley to explore and see amazing rock formations and the beautiful nature in Berkeley. Walk Leader Rodney Paul will discuss the Native American presence in this area, the creation of the parks, and their role in the first housing developments. The walk is 1.5 miles, 300 feet elevation gain. Bring poles if needed. The tour ends at Great Stoneface Park a 15 minute walk from our start. Ocean Beach Stroll
Sun, Sep 13, 8:00 PMThe latest SF 55+ San Francisco Walking Group event takes place on Sundays at 1:00 p.m. at Java Beach at the Zoo Cafe, 2650 Sloat Boulevard, San Francisco. The route is to walk 3 blocks down Sloat Blvd. to the Upper Great Highway recreation path, continue walking until Judah Street and then turn around and go back to Java Beach. The walk varies between 90 minutes and 2 hours. Java Beach has a bathroom and there is also a public bathroom at Judah Street at the foot of the path at the halfway mark of the walk. The host is Weeming Yee, known as "Wee." **Rain Policy:** Rain cancels the walk **Dog Policy:** dog-friendly walk **Intensity:** Easy & Flat Walk 50 ft of elevation change **Route**: Up Ocean Beach and back **Restrooms:** Beginning (Java Beach on Sloat), Public restrooms every 3 blocks along the Great Hwy. **Distance:** 4 miles **Walk Talk:** Conversational **Pre-Walk**: no activities before walk **Post-Walk**: no activities after walk **Parking**: Parking is easy. **Grace Period:** 5 minutes **Running Late:** We'll walk to the Upper Great Highway and head North on the side path.
