Hello friends and riding buddies. This is just a friendly survey to gauge if there is interest in more "**Spooky San Francisco Ghetto Night Ride!"** Date and time shown is placeholder only. *After reading through this please state your interest by voting "will attend". since we can't have a very large group in City rides, depending on the number of people who RSVP I will schedule a few of these rides so everyone will get a chance to go.* Keep reading :) ***+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++*** **San Francisco Ghetto Night Ride** is one of our signature rides, and the most popular among GRF regular suspects. We will be riding the hills, peaks and valleys of everyone's favorite city. We’ll zip through the ghettos, pass the mansions and view the scenery very few people get to see in a year let alone in a single evening. If you would like a cup of coffee, a light supper, or a snack, you can come earlier and join the group (place TBD, but Moto friendly). Or come few minutes before KSU time. You will be able to leave any time you get tired. We usually finish the ride before midnight. • When: **TBD**. It is usually on a Saturday. 4 PM is a good time come for dinner/snacks. Those who only want the ride arrive around 5:00 PM (for coffee, gossip and group hugs); KSU 5:15 PM. We usually finish by midnight. • Where: TBA (a moto friendly spot) • Pace: Not fast. Not too slow either. Just right :-) • Gear: ATGATT & Head to toe. • Motorcycle: Yes, you will need one ;-) • Route: Technical. Ride from Brickyard Cove to Richmond Marina, break, and return

This is a fun, easy ride, up the Bay Trail to the Richmond Marina. We follow the trail from Brickyard Cove up to Gilman St., then hug the Bay while we ride behind Golden Gate Fields, and go up and down our one big hill. Then we follow the Bay Trail, up to El Cerrito, hugging the Bay at Costco, and find our way up to Richmond Marina, (hugging the Bay, :) Regroup at Rosie the Riveter,and some of us continue riding to Pt. Richmond, others of us go straight for the coffee break, at a nearby cafe. After the break, we retrace our route, to Brickyard Cove. If you've have made it to the Seabreeze Cafe at the corner of University and Frontage Road, you are almost there. Continue across the unpaved parking lot and you will find us in the paved parking lot for the new park - Brick Yard Cove.

Yay!** Let's explore the Alameda Islands again, stay near the shorelines, and take the Alameda Water Shuttle to Jack London Square! We'll take a short rest at Bicycle Coffee, and then head back south, stopping for a quick look at the Wave Oculus. Other POI along the way: Coast Guard Island and several marinas. **\*\*Bring your helmet, tube, and water. We anticipate 'clothing adjustment stops' along the way. Restrooms are available at the start.** **\*\*The Ride Sweep will ensure that the group remains together. This is a "NO DROP" ride and is e-bike friendly. Cycling etiquette is essential. No SAG cars provided.**

SF the Right Way

3 bridges and a ferry in a right-hand clockwise loop - close to 80 km. Meet us at Brickyard Cove for a 9 am rollout to the Bay Bridge and beyond. We’ll ride the 10:20 ferry from Treasure Island to SF. (If the ferry is crowded perhaps a couple riders could take a bus from TI to SF and meet us) Then we’ll head to the GG Bridge and cross to Sausalito where we’ll have lunch (maybe at Taste of Rome). Afterwards we’ll continue north and cross the RSR Bridge and finally head back to Brickyard Cove. Some folks might want to join us at the SF ferry bldg at 10:30; some might want to start in Berkeley but only go as far as Treasure Island or SF. The attendance limit is for people who will take ferry or bus from TI to SF. any number can come to the SF ferry bldg by other means and join us for the rest of the ride Whatever, let’s enjoy the last Friday before Labor Day forces us to face the end of summer.

We’ll cruise the Parenzana trail on our E-Bikes, stopping in Grožnjan, Oprtalj, and Motovun for coffee, olive oil tastings, and a spectacular lunch. By evening, we’ll cycle to the top of Motovun for a stunning gargoyle view of the Adriatic cities. You won’t leave Istria without loading your bike down with bottles of wine and a tummy full of truffles. **HIKE PLITVICE LAKES AND PAKLENICA NATIONAL PARKS** You’re gonna see the kind of natural beauty that shows up in the screensavers of Apple products. The Instagram world is stark raving mad over Plitvice Lakes because of its unique system of lakes and waterfalls. We are excited to offer a Transit History bicycle tour that will take you on a journey through the city’s rich transportation heritage. Stage 1: Mission and Valencia—Streetcars, Rail Rights-of-Way, and Bike Advocacy **Meetup Start at:** Old Valencia Car Barn - Today’s Present Location of Duncan Street, Tiffany & Valencia Street Introduce the route with Valencia Street’s Irish carmen, early streetcar operations, and the later emergence of Valencia bike-lane advocacy. Juri Commons between Guerrero and San Jose: Connect the corridor’s rail legacy to the visible remains and reused spaces along the former right-of-way. · Mini-Stop: Rosamunde Sausage on the railroad right-of-way. BART Plaza Mural at 24th Street: Use the mural as a visual anchor for discussing neighborhood identity, transit access, and the Mission’s layered transportation history. · Mini-Stop: The New Wheel on Valencia. SF Bay Trail Monthly Ride

Bay Area recumbent cyclist monthly Ride. (Berkeley to Point Richmond) Pace: 12-14 mph when pedaling on flat ground. Slower when climbing. distances: 25.5 miles Please Arrive by 9:45 AM, Wheels rolling at 10 AM. Meet at Brickyard Cove on the west side of highway 80 and University Ave. in Berkeley CA, There is ample parking available as well as pubic bathrooms. Route Description: From Brickyard Cove parking lot in Berkley the route follows the San Francisco Bay trail all the way to point Richmond, i there is a bathroom stop halfway at the Craneway Pavilion (the old Ford assembly plant), . From Craneway, the SF Bay Trail uses roads to connect with Point Richmond and the turn-around point at Kaleidoscope Coffee. Generally spend about 20-30 minutes at Kaleidoscope Coffee or Café Roma before heading back via the Dornan Tunnel and the bike trails at Miller-Knox and Brickyard Cove. Route is known for its scenic views of bay, marinas, waterfronts and birdlife.
