Sun, Jul 26, 12:10 AM**Sunday ride with an easy tailwind** This is a bike ride of about **60km** from northwest of Melbourne back to the City on a mix of roads and paths. **Meet**: Catch the 10:14 train from Town Hall Station (Sunbury line) to Diggers Rest (arr 10:59). Please allow extra time to be early as it takes a few minutes to walk through from Flinders Street Station or via two lifts from the Collins St entrance. We'll be in the last carriage should you get on elsewhere on the line *Check PTV outages for your own line to town if applicable.* Werribee, Williamstown & Sandringham lines will have bus replacements. We depart Watergardens to Caroline Springs via bike paths and wind our way back to town along the picturesque Kororoit Ck path to Federation Trail, Footscray Rd bike path and so on. Should you need to leave the ride early then we will pass near Sunshine station which could save you an hour or so. **Pace**: 22-25 kmh typically. Sun, Aug 16, 12:30 AM**Hare:** Portuguese Man O Whore and Back Wash **Date and Time:** Sunday 16/18/2026 - 10:30 for 11am wheel off **Start:** Broadmeadows Sporting Club, 111 Sunset Blvd, Jacana VIC 3047 Closest station is Jacana on the Craigieburn line **Note the earlier than usual start time** This follow me ride goes to the end of the Moonee Ponds Creek Trail into a national park with a section on dirt track similar to that on the Bendigo ride - please bring your spare tyres! Please bring a can of your favourite beverage for a drink with a spectacular view. I will provide a drink as well and small snack. I will need to confirm numbers for the restaurant - there is only one place in the area to eat, Broadmeadows Sporting club does not serve food on Sundays. This ride can only be done on a fair day. As such we have a plan B ride at Coburg. Portuguese and Back Wash

City - Dingley Bypass path - Waterways - Frankston and train back (60km)
Tue, Jul 21, 12:00 AM**Ride**: A midweek (Tuesday) ride from Fed Square to Dingley Bypass path then to Chelsea for lunch (after 40km) and 20km more to Frankston for a train back to town. Join the ride in town or along the way, eg Malvern East, if that is more convenient. You can cycle back to town, if you wish, into the cool and light northerly winds. Decide on the day. **Target group**: Suits Intermediates with a medium fast (25-28kmh) pace on the paths and a few roads to Frankston. (Not too fast and not too slow) **Bike**: Most bikes okay. Nothing too heavy like an MTB, please. **Speed**: About 25-28 kmh on the few roads. 25+ kmh on paths where safe. **Distance**: 60 km.
