( for paid MBTC members) Camping weekend , recommend booking train tickets as soon as you have RSVPed This ride starts in Albury , * Friday Southern Cross station 7.07am to Albury arrive 10.43 am leave for Tallangatta 40 kms * Saturday , 8:00 am parkrun event is on Talangatta, meet the locals leave 9:30 to Lake Hume Resort 50 kms * Sunday off to leave 8:00 Wodonga 30 kms Sunday train Wodonga to Southern Cross catch 1:02pm or 5:31pm to Southern Cross Route: [Albury -Tallangatta route](https://ridewithgps.com/routes/56000544) Accommodation costs will be shared . Castlemaine Panacea Winery Maldon CP Weekend. 40km & 43 km hard ride
Sat, Sep 19, 12:00 AMCastlemaine Station to Panacea Winery for lunch to Maldon Caravan Park Weekend. We shall depart Castlemaine Station at 10 am. There is a train departing Southern Cross 7.01 arriving 8.35 and a train departing 7.40 arriving 9.26. For those who want brekky in Castlemaine before getting on the road and are planning to come by train the 7.01 is advised. Brekky can be enjoyed at the excellent Das Kaffhaus: [https://coffeebasics.com/](https://coffeebasics.com/) Our weekend destination is Maldon Caravan Park which offers camping but also cabin accommodation but you will need to book the cabin accommodation yourself and it would be wise to book this in advance as Maldon is a popular weekend destination. You will need to be riding a bike that is fitted with pack racks that carry paniers in which to carry a tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat if you are planning to camp at Maldon Caravan Park. Most of the weekend’s cycling will be on gravel. In order to be suitable for this ride you will not only need to be riding a properly fitted bike but also be as good as listening to others opinions as you are at expressing your own opinions. The ride leaders may communicate guidance in regards to suitability for this ride. Saturday lunch will be at Panacea Winery, you are welcome to take the rail trail direct to Maldon if you would prefer and get into Maldon by lunch and spend the afternoon exploring shops, a walk up Mount Tarrengower or whatever if you would prefer. By extending the ride to Panacea winery on the Saturday is gives us a proper ride for the day, Panacea Winery offers a cheese platter only to eat so it might be wise to bring lunch for Saturday. Maldo CP says no e-bike recharging but AI says there is EV recharging at Mount Tarrengower, a power point at Muckleford Staion, possibly the machinery museum if you smile and ask nicely and speaking from personal experience if you're prepared to smile and offer a $5 donation there are plenty of community facilities; op shops, community houses, that will let you recharge at a powerpoint Sunday’s ride with be on through state forest to Red White Blue mine, a Favourite photo op then on to Guildford for lunch then a scenic route via Kemps Bridge Road back to Castlemaine Station. Whether you're navigating the early days of separation or further along the journey, this is a relaxed space to meet other men who get what you're going through. No pressure, no expectations. Just real conversation, good food, and the chance to connect with other guys who understand the ups and downs of fatherhood after separation. Each dinner has a theme to guide the conversation, but sharing is completely optional. You can talk, listen, or just enjoy the company. **Spots are limited to 15 men**, so booking is essential. **📅 Date:** Tuesday, 22nd of September 2026 **🕢 Time:** 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM **📍 Location:** Hardimans Hotel, 521 Macaulay Rd, Kensington VIC.
