Follow our rules below.*** 📌V**olleyball Game Rules** * Max 3 hits per team * A block does not count as one of the 3 hits * Encourage passing or setting the ball to your team mates * No double hits (except after a block) * No touching the net * Serve behind the line * Ball out = point to other team * No catching, kicking or throwing the ball * Rotate when your team wins the serve from the opponents * If your team is already serving and wins the point → no rotation * Communication is encouraged to avoid collisions (Say mine! or my ball) * No interference or distraction of the opposing team * Fix the net if loosen * Play safe and communicate with team mates * Help setup/pack up the nets and balls * Do not lose any pins We will be playing 6v6, 5v5, 4v4 at Coogee Beach on rotation so that everyone who attends gets a chance to play. We will have 2-3 nets for everyone. **Winning team stays, losing team allow next team to play. Join us **every Sunday at 10 AM** at South Eveleigh Sports Courts for fast-paced, good-vibes futsal. Whether you’re a seasoned baller or you’ve never touched a futsal ball before — if you love football, you’re one of us. We play on hard ground, so leave the spike boots at home (unless you enjoy sliding around like Bambi on ice ). *** **One golden rule:** Cancelling after **12 PM on Saturday** means you’re out for future games. If you say you’re coming, you’re coming. Why? Because commitment is the only “fee” we charge. No drama, no flakes — just good people and good football. WHALE DAY! Bondi Junction - Watsons Bay! 14KM Medium

We meet at **Bondi Junction Train Station, at Bus Stand F (easy to find)** by no later than **10:30AM** to commence our walk down to Bondi Beach. We check out Ben Buckler Point and a host of parks spread through Dover Heights and head through to **Watsons Bay** for lunch and clean bathrooms. **FOOD SHOPS AT LUNCH BREAK, BUT IT CAN GET BUSY SO MAYBE BRING A PACKED LUNCH.** We climb out of Watsons Bay via the Bluff walking track and skirt around **Naval Warfare Training Base Watson** to find South Head and the historic **Hornby Lighthouse**. 11kms Coogee to Malabar Headland Hike!!! Microbrew & Food Truck Finish!

**Beach to Beach to National Park Headland to Microwbrew & Food Truck?!?! Absolutely. Add whales!!!** **[Wow this hike is popular](https://www.meetup.com/hikewalktothebar/events/315610037/)**, and on weekends Malabar Headland is only open 2 Sundays a month so I'm adding a second one - this is it. Of course the Marrickville & Freshwater microwbrews are well known, but there are also a few down in Botany that we've not explored together. Let’s check it out for a cracker of a Sunday session. **THE HIKE. 11kms.** **Coogee Beach…** we all know it. It’s a beauty. We'll meet just by Coogee Pavilion at that huge chair in the grass - it's actually a sculpture called "The Impressionists' Seat"... hiking along beautiful Coogee Beach. South Coogee turns a bit more tranquil with gorgeous cliff views and crazy-beautiful homes. We’ll twist and turn to **Maroubra Rocks and Beach**… looooovely spots. The rockpool at Maroubra is one of the prettiest on the coast. To **Malabar Headland** we goooooooooo! I still haven't done it, and it looks a treat (it's only open the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month). Around to **Malabar Beach** then a 1km neighbourhood walk to the bus, and Beer Fontaine is close (if you have to leave after the hike, that’s understandable – it’s Sunday after all). **Beer Fontaine** is a lovely little spot, and they always have a food truck out front. Who doesn’t love a beer and food truck meal post-hike! A perfect Sunday Session. Easy: Mainly flat, suburban, loads of get out points, up to 14kms.
Easy-Medium: some stairs, a few uneven surfaces, up to 15kms.
Medium: Stairs, rocks, coastal beaches/sand, ups, downs, get out points limited, up to 17kms
Medium-Hard: uneven surfaces, need to take extreme care and be hike fit. Few get out points. Tracks, uneven surfaces, steep inclinations and limited resources. 🌸👯‍♀️🌸 WALKING GUIDELINES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 🌸✍️🌸 Carry sufficient food and water (2 litres) for the expected conditions of the walk. Pls don’t separate from the group, unless you let someone know, preferably me. The waitlist is completely discretionary….reliable regulars will ALWAYS be included. 🆗……….If you are a no show, you will not be welcome to join a future walk with me. (It’s a courtesy kind of thing). Whales,whales, whales! Cronulla to Kurnell return!

This 16 km walk begins and ends at Cronulla railway station. Please arrive at 9.10 am sharp. We will be catching the 9.20 am bus ( 987) to Kurnell. Upon arriving at Kurnell, we will look at the beautiful sculptures ( whale bones, canoes and mother and baby whales). We will then head over to the Yena trail and walk to the Kurnell rock platform and whale watching area. From here we follow the headland around and walk past Cape Bailey light house and on to Boat Harbour. There are little shacks here that were built in the 1900’s. We will walk up the beach to Wanda and on to Cronulla mall, where we can purchase a well deserved coffee or treat! We will arrive back at Cronulla railway by 3.30 pm. Please arrive prepared with both water and lunch, snacks (think carbs and sugar) jacket in case of a change in weather, a hat, sunscreen and good walking shoes.

Whales and dolphins! Bundeena wharf to Watamolla beach and return

This is a lovely 20 km hike with stunning coastal views. We will meet at Bundeena. Coming by ferry, you will need to catch the 8.30 am ferry from Cronulla and I will meet you at the Bundeena wharf at 9 am. If you are driving, please park and meet us at the wharf. We will walk to the balconies,Wedding cake rock and then on to both big and little Marley beaches and then on to our final destination: The beautiful Watamolla beach! We will return the same way. This is a moderate hike. There are some steps and small rock climbs. Please bring enough water and food. Wear sensible shoes and hat. Bring sunblock, bug spray.
