Our July FP Syd meeting is a networking event without talks. Join us in North Sydney next Monday to talk functions, lambdas, purity, and all things programming. We are meeting for drinks and chit-chat at the Firehouse Hotel in North Sydney (close to the Microsoft office). As usual, we will be meeting at 6pm. ## Meetup Topic: The Paradox of Spiritual Seeking Many spiritual traditions encourage practice while also warning that the very desire for liberation can become another form of attachment. How do we practice awakening without turning it into a personal achievement or a heroic project of the ego? In this meetup, we will explore the paradox of seeking through the lenses of Zen, Advaita, and other traditions. Together, we'll inquire into what authentic practice might look like when nothing needs to be acquired, yet practice continues. No prior knowledge is required.
