We usually play Duels Star (sometimes called Pentagonal) Anti-Star (New format!) Commander Tiny Leaders Emperor 2-Headed Giant (or more!) Left-right Attack Assassin Team variants of each of the above! Crazy fun. And More! Hear what others have to say about the Magic meetup! "It sucks. These guys bring these crazy-ass decks that always beat my tournament-caliber builds." --Bill "Don't go. These morons think they know how to play magic, but my legacy goblin deck can kill em all. I just have to remember to bring it next time." --Bob "I brought a vintage deck filled with proxy moxes. I won even before my opponents got to take their first turn! How cool is that! Of course, the next game I waited around while everyone destroyed everything i had in quick succession. But that's ok, I had fun!" --Amy If you are looking for websites to help you with deck ideas for casual magic, here are a few that are highly recommended: Magic Deck Vortex (http://www.magicdeckvortex.com) Essential Magic (http://www.essentialmagic.com/) Especially check out the combos page...highly useful for breaking things not meant to be broken. TappedOut (http://tappedout.net/) MTG Salvation (http://www.mtgsalvation.com/) Especially check out their rumors forum here (http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/forumdisplay.php?f=27). This is where you will find out about upcoming cards and sets and other interesting tidbits. See you at SF Casual Magic Sundays!

20s & 30s Late Night Comedy & Pizza in North Beach!

20s & 30s Late Night Comedy & Pizza in North Beach!

Fri, Aug 28, 1:30 AM
From Gist IRL SF
4.7

**RSVP via:** https://app.gistirl.com/event-details/znkgKNjlomuquMkkUU4k **Early Bird Discounts | More $ Later** Hey North Beach night owls, Let's soak up the neighborhood's neon lights and lively energy this evening with some fun laughs and a perfect slice of pizza. Join me for an hour of 1-1 chats to break the ice, followed by teaming up to catch a local stand-up show and some late-night grub! For the first part of the evening, the Gist IRL app takes the pressure off by pairing you up for a series of quick, one-on-one conversations. It's a great way to easily figure out who matches your sense of humor and loves the North Beach vibe as much as you do. Once we wrap up those initial chats, you'll choose the people you vibed with most. We'll form small groups right then and there, head to a nearby comedy club, and grab some pizza together! By the time you're settling into your seat at the comedy show with a warm slice of pizza, you've got a crew to share it with. Whether these folks become your regular comedy and pizza squad or it just ends up being a brilliant evening out, you'll be glad you made it out. The Plan: - 6:30PM: Check-In. Follow the link to set up your quick profile on your phone. - 6:35PM - 7:55PM: One-on-One Rounds. The app pairs you for focused chats. Find out who shares your humor, favorite late-night spots, and love for North Beach. - 7:55PM+: Form Groups. Reconnect with your favorite matches, gather into a cozy group of 4-6, and walk over to the comedy club and grab some local pizza together. Your group leaves together tonight. The whole goal here isn't to just add more random names to your phone. We want to actually go to a comedy show and grab pizza right away, hopefully kicking off many future comedy nights and neighborhood food spots to explore together. **RSVP via:** https://app.gistirl.com/event-details/znkgKNjlomuquMkkUU4k **Early Bird Discounts | More $ Later**

Please go to my Facebook page (see link at bottom) to join at starting time, which is Saturday, April 25 at 11 AM live from Berkeley. Or see Zabis video below.. or the link for the Facebook live events below as well.. Here is a video of one of our meetings with Zabi https://www.youtube.com/live/SlWax8qRsJ8?si=3YIBqln5eA4lZJbL DONATION BASED - no Paypal button yet so.. PayPal to eeetznab@aol.com or Zelle to 510-556-6410 Donations really help to pay rent and continuation and growth of these gatherings These gatherings will be led by different speakers, including myself, very informal, and yet interjected will be our ongoing series of hosting non-dual orient speakers from around the world as well. Zabi will be leading this next gathering, where we will sit and share in the light of the Nondual orientation, perhaps a short meditation at the beginning. There is also a big screen TV in the room for viewing when that naturally arises and potentially for Zoom as well. This is a weekly gathering which could land on any weekend day or weekday as we go along. You will be notified usually the same week. Some of them will be radical nondual so simply look to see what type of gathering it will be. We do embrace all angles of Nonduality and yet often will host many radical Nonduality speakers as well. We look not so much to label all of this as to see the beauty of simply tuning in, and seeing the clarity of what this remarkable reality actually is. I look forward to seeing everyone who loves what we love, and is nurtured by these in person, gatherings and potential zoom, live YouTube and live Facebook as well. Again, see links below.. Come share with Zabi, who shares what can be labeled the radical Nonduality message. But really it is the palpable presence and tuning in. It will be IN PERSON … , AND… FACEBOOK ā€œLIVEā€ .
