We are planning to participate in Strathfield Council’s Bushcare program, which involves volunteers helping with bushland maintenance and restoration, or simply focusing on rubbish removal in public parks. The Orient Hotel has been a landmark in the historic Rocks district of Sydney since 1844, and it's been a favourite watering hole for generations of Sydneysiders. The street level Public Bar is a relaxed gathering place by day with great Aussie bar food, icy-cold beer and friendly staff. Walk through to the sandstone courtyard and find the perfect spot to take time out with a cool drink. By night, the Orient parties with live bands in the Public Bar every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Sydney Social Climbers is a group of social climbing enthusiasts who also enjoy a beer and a chat. We meet every Monday 6pm, at the Blochaus Marrickville climbing gym. Come find us next to the couches near the table tennis area! **What is Bouldering**? Bouldering is rock climbing without ropes or harnesses. The challenge is to climb short but tricky routes using balance, technique, and strength. It's a high-intensity exercise that strengthens many of the major muscles of the body, and in particular your core, back, shoulders, arms, hands, and grip. It can also help improve your sport climbing technique. Bouldering routes are set for beginners up to advanced climbers.
