There's a Weatherspoons a short bus ride away at Victoria Station, or any number of places in London. ## *The National Army Museum in London examines the British Army's role as protector, aggressor and peacekeeper, through objects and personal accounts.* *Established in 1960, The National Army Museum in Chelsea is the central museum of the British Army. It houses a vast collection of objects and records that illuminate the army's history from the Civil Wars to the present day.* ### *What to see* *The museum's five galleries offer a dynamic and interactive journey through British military history. Here you will find displays of weaponry, military technology and uniforms, from Lawrence of Arabia’s robes to the tunic of a Captain wounded at the Battle of the Somme.* ### *Home and away* *Discover where armies have been deployed around the world, from the age of empire to the modern day. Alternatively, the Army at Home gallery explores the Army's home service from the 1600s to the present day.* ### *On the frontline* *The immersive action theatre in the Soldier Gallery lets you get a sense of what life is like on the battlefield, as you hear from the individuals who experienced it first-hand. The museum also houses personal items and diaries that provide a glimpse into the lives of soldiers.* ### *Interactive exhibits* *There are lots of ways to learn by getting hands-on with the items on display, from family-friendly tours and drop in sessions to taking a turn in the sentry box, or climbing aboard our Churchill Mk VII tank.*

Will be playing 2 games of duckpin bowling at the price of £15.40 per person. Payment will be required shortly after RSVP as I have to book you into the lane and as we get nearer the price might rise. Here's more information on duckpin bowling; Featuring smaller, lightweight balls with no finger holes and shorter, squatter pins, duckpin bowling is perfect for all ages and skill levels. 🏞️ One of the most **Epic Hikes** amongst the most stunning views of the **Jurassic Coast and the famous Durdle Door** in Dorset (probably the most famous stone arch anywhere in the world). Including an undulating two way hike on the clifftops and returning back to take a view at yet another UNESCO World Heritage site of **Lulworth Cove**. *[Dinosaurs not included]* 🌲 Please remember this is primarily a hike in a stunning location and not just a seaside trip (plenty of other groups do that). We also aim to hike to the Fossil Forest and then spend a little time relaxing at Lulworth Cove cliffs (if we can keep a good pace!) 💺 **Limited spaces (mini van): Please initially add yourself to the waitlist > wait for payment message > make payment > you'll be added to going list.** 🏷️ **Please note:** Priority is given to regular and reliable attendees for such events. *Why? At Active Muslims, we place great importance on attendance records and active participation in our regular events, such as our walks and hikes. We believe these activities offer attendees the chance to form meaningful and strong connections with like-minded individuals.
