The hotel features an extraordinary wellness and a swimming pool in a tranquil setting. **If you'd like a single room for £249 extra**, email aaalondongroup@yahoo.co.uk **LOCATION** **Kranjska Gora** is an alpine resort in northwestern Slovenia, near the mountains and glacial lakes of **Triglav National Park**. **The Vršič Pass**, with an elevation of 1,611 metres, is the pass across the Julian Alps in northwestern Slovenia. It is the highest pass in Slovenia as well as the highest in the Eastern Julian Alps. The steep mountain road features plenty of hiking trails, lodges & stunning views along the way. You may see the **magnificent Lake Jasna**, with mountainous landscapes of the Julian Alps and emerald waters. You will not mind the 50 sharp bends since the scenery is breathtaking. There are 2 waterfalls – the pearls of the Slovenian Alpine world under the Špik Mountain, right opposite our hotel Špik. **The Upper Martuljek Waterfall** is especially spectacular, as it descends in three levels over 110m of a vertical wall. **Peričnik Waterfall** is unique because you can walk behind it. We can not miss the **symbol of Slovenia - Lake Bled** and the Vintgar Gorge, where we can walk around and through. We will hike in **the Fusine Lakes** area in Italy, reaching the **Ponza Piccola** ridge bordering Slovenia, having this as a bonus to our trip. It has become a tradition to have lunch in Italy. 🌳 FREE BANK HOLIDAY HIKE – 🌿 London’s Farthing Downs & Happy Valley Loop

On this **12–14 km adventure**, we’ll swap city streets for sweeping chalk downs, hidden valleys, and peaceful woodlands. Meeting / starting around **10:15 am** outside **Coulsdon South Station** \- platform 1 exit \(meeting point & finishing point\)\, the urban world quickly disappears behind us as we step into wide open skies\, ancient paths\, and landscapes that feel truly wild\. We will aim to finish by max 2pm before lunch. **Highlights include:** ✨ Panoramic ridge walking on **Farthing Downs** ✨ Shady woodland trails through **Happy Valley** ✨ Wildlife-rich grasslands and late-season countryside colours This hike is the perfect mix of views, variety, and atmosphere — proof that you don’t have to travel far to find nature at its best. *** #### What to Bring 🥾 Good hiking shoes/boots (chalk paths can be slippery when damp) 💧 At least 2L of water + snacks 🧥 Layers & a waterproof jacket (it’s autumn after all!) 📸 Camera/phone for the big sky views 💪 A positive spirit — it’s called *Happy Valley* for a reason! *** #### Difficulty **Moderate** — mostly easy-going with a few short, sharp climbs.
