But we can prepare now. Come paint, draw, and process your rage and hope with others who get it. No artistic skill needed. No cost barriers. All materials provided. Haunted place hike near Oranienburg (15km) with Café at the end ☕

Just in time for Halloween, we’re heading to one of the eeriest lost places in Brandenburg: the abandoned **Grabowsee sanatorium**. Hidden in the forest by a quiet lake, this former lung clinic has stood empty for decades. Its crumbling red-brick wards, ivy-covered facades and silent corridors are so cinematic they’ve been used as a film set for horror movies and Hollywood blockbusters, including *The Monuments Men*. On a grey late-October day, it doesn’t get more atmospheric. **The plan:** • **10:00** — Meet in front of Oranienburg train station 👉 [https://maps.app.goo.gl/qT83XCBzn2wgZZkV6](https://maps.app.goo.gl/qT83XCBzn2wgZZkV6) How to get there: Take the RB32 train to Oranienburg from Ostkreuz at 9:18, or use any other option that works for you. • **10:00–13:00** — We hike through the forest to Grabowsee (with a break for lunch/snacks) • **13:00–14:30** — We explore the sanatorium: the old clinic buildings, the chapel and the overgrown lakeside grounds. **Entrance: 10€, cash on site** (an additional fee of 10€ is usually asked if you want to take photos) • **14:30–16:30** — We hike back to Oranienburg. After reaching the city, there will be time for a well-earned **coffee & cake** ☕ before the train • **17:29** — We come back with the **RB12 to Berlin Ostkreuz** (or you can choose what works best for you) **What to bring:** sturdy, comfortable shoes, warm layers and a wind/rain jacket, a torch (optional), and **cash — at least 35/40€** (10€ ticket + 5€ meetup fee + some extra for the optional cafè/ photo permit). Chuckleheads English Comedy Show #457

An *electric* atmosphere featuring visiting pros and some of the best comedians in Berlin at the city's longest-running weekly show. There's no such thing as a bad Chuckleheads; it's as consistent as it gets. Come and find out why we have more regulars than any comedy show in Berlin. The right mix of lively yet laid-back energy in an intimate setting, with well-curated line ups. Chuckleheads is primarily for experienced comedians, though depending on the week we might have a spot for a newbie or two. Doors: 8:00 pm Showtime: 8:30 pm RESERVATIONS ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! We got limited seating. Book the amount of seats you need with your name and we'll have them ready for you. It is still a free-entry show, though please donate to keep the laughs coming and pay for production costs. Suggested donation is 10-20 euros. PPT Karaoke is simple: you present a deck of random slides you’ve never seen before. You’ll be figuring it out as you go—and that’s exactly the point. No prep, no pressure, and definitely no boring quarterly charts. It’s a great way to try something new, laugh at yourself a bit, and maybe get a little more comfortable speaking in front of people. You can present… or not. **Grunewald Leaf-Peeping Cruise: 30 km of Autumn Colors** Join us for a relaxed, autumn mountain bike ride through the heart of the Grunewald forest! We will meet at **S-Bahn Grunewald**, dive into the deep woods past Teufelssee, and trace the dirt roads along the beautiful blue Havel River. Expect stops to take photos and quietly enjoy the brilliant red and yellow canopy. We will wrap up our 3–4 hour cruise at **S-Bahn Nikolassee**. This is not for beginners.
