We'll be taking a wonderful stroll through some of Berlin's most vibrant and colorful neighborhoods before ending in its older part♥️....... Our journey begins at the East Side Gallery, where we'll follow the longest remaining section of the Berlin Wall. 🧱 Along the way, we'll see a mix of world-famous street art. Our first stop is a hidden communal garden—a little urban oasis where graffiti, nature, and laid-back Berlin vibes come together. And if we're lucky, we'll be greeted (or even followed!) by the garden's resident cats. 🐱 This was definitely one of my personal highlights. Meeu! 😻 After saying goodbye to our furry friends, we'll continue to Holzmarkt—Berlin's unique creative village built along the Spree. Filled with cafés, bars, art spaces, gardens, and cultural venues. They even have their own Bakery, making fresh bread! A perfect snack ❤️ 🌱 From Holzmarkt, we'll continue our riverside walk towards Nikolaiviertel, Berlin's oldest neighborhood. Old houses, cobbled streets...⛪🏛️⛲ If you'd like, we can make a quick stop at a place where they make the smallest cutest cupcakes! They even have delicious vegan options, and they're almost too pretty to eat!🌱 ❤️ From there, we'll make our way through the city's historic center. Our walk ends at the Berliner Dom, where we can share the last snacks and call it a day!! ❤️🌱

You'll find them on buildings, fountains, carved into statues, painted or pasted onto walls, maybe even in real life. So get your camera, binoculars and join us! On the Berlin Safari tour. 📸🐱🦊 We'll be meeting in front of the TV tower, where we will split into two teams! Each team will have 90 minutes to explore the streets and capture as many different animals as possible. Harz Day Trip: Devil's Wall and Witches Mountain

*Journey to the Harz Mountain region, hike along some of the most impressive rock formations, and walk through the magical woodlands, which, according to mythology, are the home of witches and the devil.* Hike Distance: 15km Difficulty: Intermediate Starting in the historical town and UNESCO World Heritage site Quedlinburg, the 15km hikes along the riverfront, alongside the impressive Teufelsmauer (Devil's Wall) - a bizarre, jagged, 20-kilometer-long rock formation - and to the centre of the region, Thale. At Thale, we will scale the local mountain with a cable car and descend on foot through the haunted forests. The Harz region can be reached daily using the Harz Express, a direct train that takes us to and from the region. From here, we will take a steady-paced hike through the region, engaging in nature and looking at the region's beauty. Hiking from Quedlinburg to Thale along the Teufelsmauer (Devil's Wall) is one of the most rewarding point-to-point hikes in the Harz foothills, as it perfectly pairs Quedlinburg's fairy-tale streets with Thale's rugged gorge scenery, using the most spectacular, dramatic stretch of the ancient sandstone ridge as its highway. The final stretch of the hike takes us down the Hexenstieg, a route famed for its witch monuments, history, and legacy, made famous by the Brothers Grimm. The trip will be led by Lonely Planet author and local beer and wine tour guide Daniel Cole. That’s the Zugspitze, and mid-June is the time to experience it. The snow has been nearly melted and the alpine meadows are bursting with wildflowers. Here’s the thing—this hike isn’t something just anyone can do. All the spots at the iconic **Knorr Hut** have been booked solid for months, but I’ve got us covered. I secured these places well in advance so that you can enjoy this incredible route at the best possible time! **WHAT IS THE PLAN?** * **Day 0 - Meet & Greet:** Relaxed day – we all meet at the hotel in the evening, having late evening dinner, preparing ourselves for next day’s adventures. * **Day 1 (Distance – 20 km)** – Today post breakfast, we would start our journey to hut. The hike itself would go through the Reintal valley. During the hike we would pass the impressive Partnachklamm gorge, the secluded Reintal valley, the Reintalangerhütte and at the evening would approach Knorrhütte. It is possible to have a nice lunch there, at their restaurant, So, you do not need to carry on food with you. During the day we would gain around 1400 meters. * **Day 2 (Hike distance <10 km)** – After the early breakfast at the hut, we would start our hike to summit. Although it is quite short, we would gain another 870 meters to reach the summit at around mid-day. After relaxing at the top and enjoying the pristine beauty of the majestic and mighty mountains, we will use the cable car to go down to the city. On this varied circular hike, we’ll explore a chain of elongated lakes in the Behrensdorfer Heide. The quiet and, at times, very secluded trail follows the wooded shores of Lake Springsee and Lake Großer Glubigsee, for much of the route, offering beautiful views of the surrounding nature. Along the way, we’ll also pass through an interesting wet woodland area, a valuable ecosystem that plays an important role in climate protection and nature conservation. And if the weather is on our side, the many lakeside bathing spots invite us to enjoy a refreshing swim or simply relax by the water. As there are no guaranteed places to stop for food or drinks along the route, please bring enough food and water for the day. Since we’ll be walking through woodland and wetland areas, it’s also a good idea to bring an effective insect repellent. **What’s Village Outdoor?** Village outdoor Events are monthly meetups for the we are village community and their friends to enjoy outdoor activities in and around Berlin. Der stille und teilweise sehr abgelegene Wanderweg führt größtenteils entlang der bewaldeten Ufer des Springsees und des Großen Glubigsees und eröffnet immer wieder schöne Blicke auf die Natur. Unterwegs passieren wir außerdem ein interessantes Bruchwaldgebiet, das als wertvolles Ökosystem eine wichtige Rolle für den Klima- und Naturschutz spielt. Und wenn das Wetter mitspielt, laden die zahlreichen Badestellen unterwegs zu einer erfrischenden Abkühlung oder einer entspannten Pause ein. Zu den Aktivitäten gehören Waldwanderungen, Radtouren, Schwimmen in Seen, Sightseeing und Kajakfahren. Jeden Monat gibt es einen kostenlosen und unkomplizierten Spaziergang oder eine Wanderung in Bereichen Berlins oder in der Umgebung, die mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichbar sind. **Hinweise** **Sei sun smart:** Bitte denk an Sonnenencreme, eine Kopfbedeckung und vielleicht sogar an ein Shirt mit langen Ärmeln. Pillnitz Wine Hike: Dresden - Day Trip from Berlin

Explore one of Dresden's best wine terraces, hiking from winery to winery. Take a day trip to Dresden's most beautiful wine terrace, facing out across the Elbe visiting palaces, walking through vineyards, and tasting some of the best local wines. Hike Distance: 10km Difficulty: Intermediate Visit the historic and beautiful district of Pilitz, on the outskirts of Dresden. The day’s adventure will combine hiking through vineyards, visiting spectacular palaces and wine terraces, while enjoying views across the magnificent Elbe. The tour of Pilnitz will take you through the old palace and gardens, before journeying along the region's famed Saxon Wine Route. Along the way, we'll visit multiple wineries, enjoying wine and cake along the river, before visiting the award-winning Weingut Klaus Zimmerling. The hike is a casual 10km trek, with steep inclines and stunning views. This is a trip for anyone who loves nature and adores wine. The tour will be led by travel author and guide Dan Cole, author of the leading hiking guide Weinwandern Deutschland. Dan has also worked previously for Lonely Planet, Easyjet Magazine, and Lufthansa, and has several published travel guides about Berlin and beyond.
