Berlin Belting - Workshop August 30th
Sun, Aug 30, 11:00 AMBERLIN BELTING Workshop for singers "say it with your chest" August 30th, 13:00-18:00 (5 hours) Berlin, Limited spots 150,00 € https://app.acuityscheduling.com/catalog.php?owner=38658003&action=addCart&clear=1&id=2255116 Belting isn't just a vocal technique. It's an act of courage. It means taking up space with your voice, trusting it fully, and letting go of the fear of "too much." That's exactly what we'll work on in this 5-hour workshop: the technique and the mindset behind it. Using proven Estill Voice Training tools, you'll learn to belt powerfully and safely. No strain, no fear of "ruining your voice." We'll also work on the courage and self-permission that real belting requires, because a healthy belt starts in your head just as much as in your throat. I've spent years guiding singers through this process, and I know how to make it technically solid, genuinely empowering, and above all: fun. I'm Florian Unruh: Estill Master Trainer, university vocal teacher, composer and conductor. Bring your voice, bring a song, and let's find out what your belt is really capable of.

It's cosy and very 'Kreuzberg' i.e. rough and ready. rIf you don't like enclosed spaces with no windows (like many studios are), this one may not be for you. **Are you available for personal coaching and corporate training?** Oh, but of course. Just speak to me in person, or email me at editor.silverscript@outlook.com, or here in the Meetup group. **PREVIOUS STUDENTS SAY …** Please don't stop. Postcard Making - Art Workshop / Free participation
Wed, Aug 19, 4:30 PMPostcard Making - Art Workshop In this workshop, participants will create postcards while reflecting on the meaning of home. Rather than a place, home is approached as a collection of memories, emotions, rituals, and connections that continue to shape us over time. Together, we will explore what creates a sense of belonging by making postcards that invite reflection and reconnection with a person, a place, or a memory that is meaningful to them. At the end of the workshop, participants will take their postcards home, with the option of sending them to anyone they wish. Art materials will be provided. Participants are also welcome to bring their own materials, photographs, or other images that represent home to them. Language: English / Portuguese Free participation, with a suggested donation of €10. There are only 12 spots available, so please sign up by sending an email to elisa.carreno@hotmail.com or by getting a donation based ticket on https://www.eventbrite.com/e/postcard-making-art-workshop-tickets-1997920114846?aff=ebdssbdestsearch Workshop led by Elisa Carreno Elisa Carreno received a BFA from São Paulo State University. We truly believe that everyone can learn to connect with confidence - on stage and in life. Over 8 weekly classes, we explore the principles of comedic improvisation primarily through short-form games. Together, we create a conscious, supportive space where we focus on becoming good listeners, making spontaneous choices, and working together as a team. We’ll empower each other with the “Freedom to Fail,” thereby unleashing our inner creativity. The concepts of presence, agreement, trust, commitment and support are fostered through large and small group exercises. We’ll also have a ton of fun and make new friends!
