**every first Friday** of the month (except January since 2016), **people** from diverse backgrounds and nations **meet**, to **share** **food**, **drinks** and **slides**. The **entrance is free!** **Share** **your culture** and **bring** **food/drinks** from your country of origin **for the International Buffet** at FirstFriday. The idea is to build true human connections through **sharing**, **helping each other** and **participating** in any way you choose in our **community projects**, while we learn more about how to start a startup in Germany. **Agenda:** 18:00 - 18:30 **Boardingtime** 18:30 - 19:15 **Intro-Round** Everybody 60 sec, Tell your Name, what you do, what brought to the community and what we can do for you. Willkommen in der Kreativgruppe! Hier wird gemalt, gezeichnet und gebastelt. Man kann eigene Ideen umsetzen oder sich an den Vorschlägen der Gruppenleitung orientieren. In der ersten Stunde von 11-12 wird in Stille oder bei leiser Musik gearbeitet, in der zweiten Stunde von 12-13 Uhr sind auch lautere Tätigkeiten wie das Arbeiten mit Holz möglich. Kunstmaterialien werden zur Verfügung gestellt und die Gruppe ist kostenlos. Wir freuen uns, mit euch gemeinsam kreativ zu werden! Welcome to the arts & craft group! This is a space to paint, draw or craft together. You can either work on your own projects or follow the impules of the group facilitator. **Did you know we all experience emotions in our own unique ways? This emotion-focused art workshop is inviting you to self-exploration.** **What to expect:** After taking a few quiet moments to connect inwards, you’ll be invited to explore your feelings through images, textures, colours, and words. You can collect materials that represent what is alive inside you and create your own visual expression through collage. You’ll have access to a selection of magazines, inspiring materials, and art supplies to cut, arrange, layer, and transform your ideas into something new. You are welcome to work quietly and independently, or connect and chat with others. At the end of the workshop, we’ll take some time to reflect on the process and, optionally share what we created. **Good to know:** 🕠 Doors open: 18:00 🕕 Workshop: 18:30–20:30 No art experience needed. Who Lives in the Woods? Watercolour Workshop

Over four Tuesday evenings, we’ll meet four different woodland animals and explore a new way of painting each one with watercolour. Every week, we’ll look closely at one animal and use it as an opportunity to learn and practise different watercolour techniques. Some paintings will be more realistic, others more loose or abstract — the idea is to discover how many different ways watercolour can describe an animal. We’ll also look at a selection of picture books and discover how different artists have interpreted and painted animals in their own unique ways. We always work **step by step**, starting with the basics: observing how water and colour interact, experimenting with colour effects, and learning how to control — and sometimes let go of — the water. Then we’ll build our animals from simple shapes, exploring different effects and practising textures such as fur, feathers, and other details that make each animal unique.
