For this meet-up, we’ll use water-based acrylic paints to create a small artwork that you can take home and display👩‍🎨 Each session includes a live demonstration from me, so beginners are absolutely welcome! The group is intentionally small, which means there is plenty of time for questions and individual guidance👍 Recent themes we've done include: 🌊A lakeside scene inspired by Ballarat 🌷A picture of flowers, "I want to display" 🌇A view of Geelong's sunset 🐶A fluffy moment Let me know what you would like to try :-) **Place** Flagstaff (👉The Blender Studios, meet 10 mins before the session starts in front of the cafe☕️ ) **Fee** **$60 AUD** All materials included！ You only need to bring: • a drink • a lunch or snack(if you need) • a bag to carry your artwork home The finished painting is approximately A5 size. **Before attending the sessions** If you’d like to join, please send me a message to secure your seat with: **1\. The last $40 fee can be paid directly on the day via bank transfer/cash, so that we don't have to pay extra fees for PayPal on this platform, hehe😂) If you can not come after paying your deposit, please let me know as early as possible. **Description**: Join me to knit or crochet in the warm, friendly environment of Kindred Studios where we can share our skills and ideas. Knitters, crocheters and crafters of all abilities are welcome. The conversation is relaxed as we work on our projects together and it's a great way to make new friends. The Bass Note Cafe is within the studios and will bring great coffee and delicious snacks to our table. **Agenda**: I'll meet you at 10.00am inside Kindred Studios at the large table near the tiered seating. We have the space available until 12.00pm. **Location**: Kindred Studios 3 Harris St Yarraville Street parking is available nearby in Harris, Cowper, Hyde and Whitehall Streets. There are large red signs on the footpath to guide you to Kindred Studios. If you are coming by train take the Williamstown/Werribee line to Seddon Station. **Description** Join me along with a group of adventurous crafters for a train and tram journey to Jimmy Buttons Haberdashery in Fitzroy. Enjoy conversation about our crafts as we travel. If you are new in town this is an opportunity for a cross-city adventure and to make new friends. Jimmy Buttons is a treasure trove for us to explore. Whatever your crafting interest is, this is the opportunity for finding inspiration for your next project. Before we head home we will have time to relax, chat, share our purchases and enjoy tea, coffee and a snack at Pony White Cafe. **Agenda** I will meet you outside (Platform 1) Footscray Station at 9.15am and we’ll catch the 9.39am city loop train to Parliament Station. You will need a MYKI card to travel. From Parliament Station we’ll walk to corner of Albert St and Nicholson St to catch the no.86 Bundoora tram to travel to Johnson St. We'll then walk for 5 minutes to Jimmy Buttons. We'll have an hour to explore and enjoy the store. After that we’ll walk around the corner to PonyTail Café for tea,coffee, snacks and a chat. On the return we’ll catch no 11 tram to Southern Cross Station and from there catch the Williamstown/Werribee train to Footscray. The idea is to take a bit of time to think about what you'd like to focus on for the rest of the year, whether that's goals, hobbies, travel, relationships, work, or just things that inspire you. Since it's Virgo season, it felt like a good time for a bit of a reset. This isn't a class, and there's no right or wrong way to do it. You're welcome to come on your own or with a friend. You can chat with people, or just sit and work on your board quietly. I'll have magazines, paper, glue, scissors, and other collage materials available to use. If you'd rather make your vision board digitally, feel free to bring your iPad or tablet.
