👇This workshop requires **a fee and a deposit.** Please read all below before you hit the button👇 Hello art lovers, for this meet-up, we’ll use water-based acrylic paints to create a small artwork that you can take home and display👩‍🎨 Each session includes a live demonstration from me, so beginners are absolutely welcome! The group is intentionally small, which means there is plenty of time for questions and individual guidance👍 Recent themes we've done include: 🌊A lakeside scene inspired by Ballarat 🌷A picture of flowers, "I want to display" 🌇A view of Geelong's sunset Let me know what you would like to try :-) **Place** Brunswick West (👉private home studio space – exact address provided after booking via message) **Fee** **$50 AUD** All materials included! You only need to bring: • a drink • a lunch or snack(if you need) • a bag to carry your artwork home The finished painting is approximately A5 size. **Before attending the sessions** If you’d like to join, please send me a message to secure your seat with: **1\. Your name** **2\. A short introduction (your art experience or what interests you about joining)** **3\. A theme that you want to try(if you have one)** **Deposit** To secure your seat and prepare plenty of materials, **a $20 deposit** is required via bank transfer(PayID) before the sessions. Details will be provided via message. The last $30 fee can be paid directly on the day via bank transfer/cash, so that we don't have to pay extra fees for PayPal, hehe😂) If you can not come after paying your deposit, please let me know as early as possible. I’ll pay it back via bank transfer. **The process when you attend** -Press the attend button and message me a little bit about yourself 👇 -Details about the deposit and others will be provided via message 👇 -Pay the deposit via PayID (no transfer fee) 👇 -Your seat will be secured! Please check the message from me after you hit the button and if you find you can't attend a session anymore, please re-press it and show me that you are not coming, since the seats are very limited:-) I’m hoping to create a friendly space where people can enjoy making art without pressure, meet others, and leave with a painting they’re proud of😊 If you’re coming alone, don’t worry — most of the people join solo, and the group is kept small and friendly. If you would like to bring guests, please message me directly to reserve your seats. Thanks for reading, and feel free to message me with any questions😊 *As a requirement of the owner of the studio space, males may only participate as part of a couple when you attend the sessions, until the organiser finds a nice common studio space. Kickstart Cybersecurity Skills: 1 Day Workshop in Melbourne

Kickstart Cybersecurity Skills: 1 Day Workshop in Melbourne

Mon, Aug 24, 2:00 PM
From Mangates Global Professional Learning Network

## Details **Overview** **Cyber Security Overview: What Every Leader Needs to Know"** "Understand cyber risks, real-world breach case studies, and key frameworks like NIST & ISO 27001 in this 1-day executive overview." **The Details** **Duration:** 1 Day \| 8 Credits **Delivery:** Classroom / Virtual **Language:** English **Includes:** Course Completion Certificate *** **Your Business Is One Click Away From a Headline You Never Want to Read** You've seen the news. A company much like yours, breached overnight — customer data exposed, operations frozen, trust shattered in a single news cycle. And the uncomfortable question every leader eventually asks themselves is: *would we have seen it coming?* Most organizations don't get breached because they ignored cybersecurity. They get breached because cybersecurity stayed a conversation for "the IT team" — never reaching the boardroom, never becoming a shared responsibility across the business. This one-day course closes that gap. No deep technical jargon, no assumption that you're already an expert — just a clear, practical understanding of the risks your organization faces and what to actually do about them. *** **Is This You?** * "I know cyber risk matters, but I couldn't explain our exposure if asked." * "I don't know what questions I should even be asking my IT/security team." * "I've heard of frameworks like NIST and ISO 27001, but not what they actually mean for us." * "I want my employees to stop being the weakest link in our security." * "I need to understand this well enough to make decisions, not just nod along." If any of that sounds familiar, this course was built for you. *** **What You'll Walk Out Knowing** **Cybercrimes — Concept, Impact, and Examples** Understand the basic terminology, who commits cybercrimes and why, how attacks actually unfold, and who gets targeted — grounded in real-life breach case studies, not hypotheticals. **Cybersecurity in Focus** Get a clear definition of cybersecurity and its real benefits, what your board of directors needs to be asking, and a full walkthrough of the cybersecurity lifecycle. **Frameworks That Actually Matter** Get oriented in the industry-standard frameworks — NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, ISO 27032, and COBIT 5 — so you know which apply to your organization and why. **Best Practices for Employers and Employees** Practical, everyday habits and policies that reduce your organization's exposure — the human side of security, not just the technical side. **Cybersecurity vs. Cyber Resilience** Understand why prevention alone isn't enough anymore, and what it really means to build an organization that can withstand and recover from an attack. *** **Why This Works** ✔ Real-life case studies, not abstract theory ✔ Written for decision-makers, not just IT specialists ✔ Covers the frameworks and language you need to engage confidently with your security team ✔ Taught in a single, focused day — no long technical course to sit through *** **Who Should Attend** * CEOs, CIOs, CISOs, and other top management executives * Administrators and IT managers * All employees working in cloud or cyberspace environments * Anyone responsible for protecting their organization's data and reputation *** **Bring Your Whole Team** Security is only as strong as your least-informed employee. This course is available as a **private, customized group session** — tailored to your industry, risk profile, and team's technical level. Delivered in-house or virtually, with group pricing for teams of any size. Reach out at corporate@mangates.com to build a session around your team **Don't Wait for the Breach to Start Taking This Seriously** Register now and walk out understanding exactly what your organization is up against — and what to do about it. info@mangates\.com \| \+61 \(0\) 2 80155605
