The Toronto Artist's Way Meetup Monthly Meetup

Mon, Aug 17, 11:00 PM
From The Toronto Artist's Way Meetup
4.5

The purpose of the group, based on the book The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron, is for people to meet and talk about their artistic challenges in any field (painting, writing, music etc.) and encourage each other to break their creative blocks and fulfill themselves in their art. If you find people who are sympathetic, you may want to form your own group, meeting regularly to explore the book and supporting each other in their artistic journeys. I have gone through 2 such clusters and can say that it is a very powerful experience. Why not come to a meeting and see for yourself?

Watercolour Painting Meetup

Watercolour Painting Meetup

Sat, Aug 22, 3:00 PM
From Watercolour Painting Meetup
4.8

Join us for a relaxed and creative watercolour meetup at a local cafe. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced painter, all skill levels are welcome. Each session will begin with brief introductions, followed by a short overview of watercolour techniques and optional theme ideas to spark inspiration. From there, you’re free to settle in and paint—either alongside the group or in your own corner of the cafe, depending on seating. We’ll wrap up the meetup by coming back together for a casual show-and-tell, where anyone who’d like can share their work. The meetup is free or pay-what-you-like if you bring your own supplies. If you need materials, $5 cash will cover basic watercolour supplies. Please also purchase something from the cafe. To keep things chill, each meetup is limited to 10 attendees. If your plans change, please update your RSVP so others can join. Come unwind, experiment, and connect with others through art.
