WEDNESDAY In-person Crafting and Happy Hour

A lot of folks asked for a second monthly meeting, so here it is! Join us on the last Wednesday of every month for our in-person fiber arts meet up! Whether you knit, crochet, felt, sew, cross-stitch, or embroider, come by, grab a drink or a snack, and share your creations! We meet in the food hall at Brookfield Place (230 Vesey St) in Tribeca. We usually have a sign on the table so you can find us.

Production Workshop

[Production Basics](https://learn.soundcollective.com/courses/production-basics-free-workshop/) is a free, hands-on 2-hour workshop that gives you a real introduction to making music from scratch. Hosted in our NYC studios, the session focuses on one core skill: building your first groove and loop. A professional producer walks you through how a beat actually comes together, from picking sounds to laying down patterns to shaping an idea into something that sounds like a track. ​This is built to give you an honest read on whether music production is a craft you want to pursue further. Small-group format with guided instruction and open practice time. No DAW experience or prerequisites required. If all workstations are taken by the time you arrive, you’re still more than welcome to join the session, observe, and jump on the gear during open practice time!

Crafting Together on the LES

Bring whatever you have been working on or wanted to work on, but haven't had the chance. I have some paint-by-numbers and crocheting I would like to get done this Fall. Grab a coffee or snack and let's sit and craft together at Essex Market. You can work quietly or we can chat--whatever you feel comfortable with! I figured this way I can block out time to ACTUALLY get some art done. We will be in the mezzanine seating area. I can provide my phone number the day of.

Polymer Clay Workshop

Spellwork 101: Cleansing (Egg Cleanse, MatchStick Test, Protection Ladder...)

Learn how magic travels through the quantum aetheric fields in order to code your intentions into the scalar dimension of standing waveforms. The first in this series of scalar magic is The Art of Cleansing. Before engaging in spellwork, practitioners must learn how to clear the fields of existing scaler energies, an act that involves purifying all of the energies currently directed towards the practitioner and existing in the ambient physical space. **Join us at Art Retail Therapy in Jackson Heights for the next Queens Fiber Crafters MeetUp in-person gathering. This is a social gathering of knitters, crocheters, hand spinners who come together to work on their own projects and enjoy the company of other fiber enthusiasts.** **Francisco of Art Retail Therapy has graciously agreed to host our group for its ongoing gatherings.
