This will be our first meetup! Bring your journal, favorite supplies (markers, pens, stickers, glue, scissors), and your most outstanding junk to piece together a beautifully chaotic spread together reflecting on the month of September. Since this will be our first meeting, there's no real theme or rules to follow, just a space to get creative and share our love of stationery and creativity. We can use this as a way to gauge interest, get input from members, and plan future events. My name is Lori, the creator of this group. I have attended many events like this in the city, but have never found one in my neighborhood, so thought I would start one myself. We can try meeting at Kuppi Coffee in Edgewater for our first event since they have plenty of seating, and see how it goes!

BX Craft at Large — a Bronx-based extension of the Craft at Large network — is bringing that community home, so Bronx makers finally have a place of their own. Join us for the very first BX Craft at Large meetup — a chance to meet fellow Bronx-based makers, talk about what we want this community to become, and start building something together. No experience required, just curiosity and an interest in making things with your hands. For our first meeting we will introduce the co-organizers and hosts, get to know each other and our crafts, and then engage in a group activity.

The host Ivy will make a sign so participants can find the group. Come grab a drink, yarn, and some food! We are primarily a knitting/crocheting/fibre arts group, but any and all crafters are welcome to join, as well as anyone looking to learn how to knit/crochet! 🧶 This meetup is in addition to the online meetup we will continue to provide. :)

**AWOL (After Work Origami Lovers) with us at Whole Foods on Madison Avenue and East 28th Street, UPSTAIRS in the dining area.** After a long week what could be better than meeting with friends and potential new friends to fold your work week away! It should be a lot of fun and more intimate than our once a month big meetings. A great place to learn some new models and also get help on models you're been stuck on. Bring your latest folds and creations for show and tell and your favorite models to teach and learn. This meeting is free and open to all level of folders from beginners to advanced folders. Bring paper and your books and also there will always be free paper available so you can just show up and fold! Please try to RSVP so others will know you will be there. FYI: regulars often do not rsvp but show up anyway. So don't be discouraged if you only see just one person attending. Hope to see you there! Happy folding!!
