September 2026 Knit+Wine Night

**Join us for our next Knit+Wine Night on Sunday, September 20 2026 from 5-7:00pm.** **Please note that** **space is limited to 15 people.** **For those of you who are new to Knit+Wine Night, this is an informal community event for knitters (& other crafters and textile enthusiasts) to come together to work on their own projects and enjoy the company of other makers. All types of knitters, crocheters, and fiber crafters are welcome!** \*\***This is \**not\* a class.*** **The cafe has a focused menu of beverages, including tea, coffee, beer, wine, and cocktails, and a small selection of pastries.** **Please note you must make a purchase in order to enter the cafe. The staff is wonderful and welcoming!** **NOTE a change in the way you sign up. Historically we have had too many who sign up and not show up. In order to accommodate all who intend to participate your $3.00 payment must be made to reserve your space. Those who do not will be relieved from the attendee column and a waitlist paying participant will be moved up. Crafting Together on the LES

Bring whatever you have been working on or wanted to work on, but haven't had the chance. I have some paint-by-numbers and crocheting I would like to get done this Fall. Grab a coffee or snack and let's sit and craft together at Essex Market. You can work quietly or we can chat--whatever you feel comfortable with! I figured this way I can block out time to ACTUALLY get some art done. We will be in the mezzanine seating area. I can provide my phone number the day of.

Artists and creatives of all skill levels are welcome, including aspiring creatives who are just starting out and professionals. Bring your drawing supplies or whatever creative project you're working on. Digital media like iPad sketching is ideal since the lighting might be a bit dim.

Bring your favorite yarns and needles, and get ready for a relaxing and enjoyable morning of crafting. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, share your love for crochet and knitting, and unleash your creativity in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Queens Fiber Crafters - Event in Jackson Heights

**Join us at Art Retail Therapy in Jackson Heights for the next Queens Fiber Crafters MeetUp in-person gathering. This is a social gathering of knitters, crocheters, hand spinners who come together to work on their own projects and enjoy the company of other fiber enthusiasts.** **Francisco of Art Retail Therapy has graciously agreed to host our group for its ongoing gatherings. As this Meet-Up has taken off we are changing the payment model to send through payment with your RSVP ($15). Cash or Venmo only. Please contact me for RSVP in cash or Venmo details. We have had many people sign-up and subsequently not attend, leaving those on a wait list unable to secure a place at the crafting table.** **This is a fun easy weeknight gathering of crafters. NYC Aces Knit/Crochet/Craft a long

Monthly OMGNYC (Origami Meetup Group) meeting!

Every third Saturday of the month we meet to fold and learn new things. The NYPL on W 53rd ST (Across from MOMA) has generously offered their wonderful community meeting rooms for our monthly meetings! Come and fold with us every 3rd Saturdays! The meeting is free and open to people of all levels of folding! Feel free to bring books and paper to share. There will always be plenty of paper and things to learn. Everyone should also register at the library's webpage for this event to guarantee your attendance. In-person Crafting and Happy Hour

You asked, and we provided! Meet with the group in-person at the food court at Brookfield Place Mall aka World Financial Center at 230 Vesey Street. The host Ivy will make a sign so participants can find the group. Come grab a drink, yarn, and some food! We are primarily a knitting/crocheting/fibre arts group, but any and all crafters are welcome to join, as well as anyone looking to learn how to knit/crochet! 🧶 This meetup is in addition to the online meetup we will continue to provide. :)

AWOL - After Work Origami Lovers

**AWOL (After Work Origami Lovers) with us at Whole Foods on Madison Avenue and East 28th Street, UPSTAIRS in the dining area.** After a long week what could be better than meeting with friends and potential new friends to fold your work week away! It should be a lot of fun and more intimate than our once a month big meetings. A great place to learn some new models and also get help on models you're been stuck on. Bring your latest folds and creations for show and tell and your favorite models to teach and learn. This meeting is free and open to all level of folders from beginners to advanced folders. Bring paper and your books and also there will always be free paper available so you can just show up and fold! Please try to RSVP so others will know you will be there. FYI: regulars often do not rsvp but show up anyway. So don't be discouraged if you only see just one person attending. Hope to see you there! Happy folding!!
