Let's make a visit to Dia: Beacon, a contemporary art museum located in Westchester, NY. After viewing the exhibits on display, we can explore the town of Beacon and have lunch. We're fascinated with how the body works, and we feel like you just might be too. We work with models who have a physical practice: boxers, climbers, dancers, lifters, athletes. Poses are directed to put the body's mechanics on display. This event is hosted by Dan Boterashvili of Harvest Strength Training, a personal trainer and visual artist, alongside Alexander Singer, community engagement professional and bartender. Bring your favorite materials and drawing/painting supplies. We will also be providing basic materials and a limited amount of drawing boards. **Every experience level welcome, first-timers welcomed.** **Doors open at 6:40pm. *Welcome to the finale of the 2026 Broadway: Tip to Top series!* Let's close out our trek across the city with Van Cortlandt Park, where the 1 ends and Broadway continues on into Yonkers. The Van Cortland House Museum is right here, as is the pool, though I can't imagine they'll let you take a dip with your paints! And of course there's the natural splendor of NYC's third largest park, I guess, if green's your favorite color! We'll switch our if summer hours given that it's a bit of a trek to get to by 10am. Our meeting point will be at the park entrance directly opposite 242nd st. Check in with me on-site so I know who's attending, and then we'll disperse to our individual painting spots. At 2pm, we'll meet back up to show off our art and discuss the day. Gather your materials (watercolor, oils, gouache, acrylics, marker: all are welcome) and join with other artists for the joys and challenges of painting outside!

Chelsea is about to have dozens of openings starting on September 10th. This walk includes new solo shows by international artists, including painting, sculpture, photography, and more as available. Join us as we explore a fantastic museum-quality show of sculptures and others works by Lynda Benglis, spanning five decades of her career. Benglis broke new ground in 1968 by pouring latex on the floor of her studio, essentially blurring the lines between painting and sculpture. At Gagosian, we will explore a superb Brice Marden retrospective, including works on loan from major institutions. We will explore why Marden is viewed as a highly influential abstract artist whose work is Minimalist yet deeply humanistic. Please note $35 early bird pricing up to 2 weeks prior to the walk.
