[EXHIBITION+OPENING RECEPTION] “ARCHIVE A3 1995–2026”

[EXHIBITION+OPENING RECEPTION] “ARCHIVE A3 1995–2026”

ARCHIVE A3, 1995–2026 “When leaving Alchevs’k, Marko Kolomytskyi also arranged for a large family archive spanning from the 1960s to 2026 to be evacuated. In the exhibition, he presents a selection of images from 1995 to 2026 under the title ARCHIVE A3. Wedding photographs, birthdays, walks, New Year celebrations, and ordinary scenes unfold before us. Gradually, an entire family history comes into view. Then something shifts. Beginning in 2014, photographs abruptly give way to administrative documents: bills, receipts, identity papers, certificates. It is as though the bureaucracy of war progressively invades the space of memory. Looking closely at the series, one realizes that this intrusion had already been present beforehand, though in latent form. Political events gradually appear within ordinary images: energy tensions and the so-called “gas wars” between Russia and Ukraine, presidential elections, military rhetoric, nuclear threats, and finally the outbreak of war in 2014. These elements pass through everyday life before progressively overtaking the entire space through the bureaucracy of occupation.” — Sasha Baydal Tiohtiá / Montréal, May 2026 Marko Kolomytskyi (b. Alchevsk, Ukraine) is a Paris-based artist whose practice centers on language as a medium, spanning installation, printmaking, performance, and film. He presented his first solo exhibition, First, in Seoul in 2020, followed by his first solo exhibition in Japan in 2025 and, most recently, Maman sous cellophane at Motto Paris in 2026. The Art of Playing — An Actor’s Playground

Thu, Oct 1, 8:30 AM
From The Art of Playing — Paris Theatre Workshops

What if acting were first and foremost an art of exploration? Each week, we discover a different approach to acting, drawing inspiration from theatre practitioners such as Michael Chekhov, Anne Bogart and others. Through playful warm-ups, improvisation, movement, scene work and unexpected theatrical challenges, we explore the body, imagination, rhythm, space and the relationship with our fellow actors. Expect two hours of creative experimentation, laughter, artistic discoveries and, occasionally, the delightful pleasure of stepping outside your comfort zone. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced performer, this workshop offers a space to develop your craft, take creative risks and enjoy the pleasure of playing together.
