FULL - Drink & Do: Social Crafts Night | London 20s and 30s
Wed, Jul 29, 6:15 PM**We don’t do boring Wednesdays - so on 29 July, we’ll be bringing some creative sparkle to your week, with our latest Drink & Do Night 🎨** Yep, we’ll once again be getting our creative juices flowing and heading to Knightsbridge for an evening of crafts and social drinks, exclusively for 20s and 30s. And with International Friendship Day on 30th July, our theme is **“Friendship & Connection”** \- a celebration of the people who matter most\, brought to life through art 👭 We’ll provide all the paints, brushes, and materials you need to create your own masterpiece - something inspired by what friendship means to you, or your connection to someone special. But that’s not all - you’ll also get to sculpt with air-dry clay, a super fun, fast-drying material that’s perfect for crafting friendship-themed ornaments, keepsakes or small handmade gifts 🎁 If you've not used it before, air-dry clay is great for trying out sculpting bowls, figurines, or ornaments and unlike normal clay - it doesn't require firing in a kiln and so you can take it home with you. And once the crafting is done and your creations are complete, we’ll clear the tables so you can unwind, grab another drink, and get to know your fellow artists. Best of all, whilst painting and crafts can cost over £40, **this whole evening of social painting is just £4.95 ❤️** So, if you're up for a creative midweek evening, join us this for this latest evening of art, fun and great company. **\- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \-** **WHERE/WHEN** The Venue: Tattersalls Tavern, 1 Knightsbridge Grn, London SW1X 7QN ([https://maps.app.goo.gl/2rxcVxAuw8vHAqwE7](https://maps.app.goo.gl/2rxcVxAuw8vHAqwE7)) Closest stations: Knightsbridge (5 mins walk), Hyde Park Corner (10 min walk) Start Time: 19:15 Pub Finish time: 21:30 **\- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \- \-** **JOIN THE COMMUNITY** Set up in November 2021, the project was set up to help 20s and 30s meet, connect and hopefully build life-long friendships. Late at the Tate: July is Frida Kahlo month!
Fri, Jul 31, 6:00 PMSummer's here and the time is right for Late at the Tate! I've been meaning to do one of these for a while, and they're always better in the summer, when bars open up outside the gallery and people can decide whether they want to hang out on the grass, see some art or make the most of the live DJing. Details for this month's event, based thematically around the new Frida Kahlo exhibition, are [here](https://www.tate.org.uk/whats-on/tate-modern/tate-modern-lates). I've said 7pm for this and I'll organise a meeting place on the night, but try and make it by half seven if you can. I don't want this to be one of the events where we're chasing after people the whole time (which is why we don't do festivals anymore on here!)
