Are you a true crime lover who loves to craft? We are gathering all makers to come and listen to an episode of a true crime podcast while working on your current project. We will listen to one episode, with time after to discuss the nights podcast. So, you bring the craft and we will bring the crime! August Meetup for the Sydney Nature Journal Club

Come along to our **August meetup for the Sydney Nature Journal Club**. Wattle Day is 1 August, we will explore this theme. This is a chance to connect, spend some time in nature and journal together. I will offer some guidance to start. After we can share journal pages and ideas. **What to bring:** Bring along sketchbooks/paper and your favourite drawing materials (pens, pencils, watercolour, acrylic, anything you have). I will have extra materials on the day if you want to explore other mediums. \*\*Where:\*\* TBC **Cost:** Suggested donation is $10 annual fee, $5 casual fee. (This helps cover Meetup fees). John Olsen Workshop

Awaken your inner muse and surround yourself in sweeping, flowing pure colours of cadmium yellow, cobalt green, veridian, emerald and sap green. Immerse yourself in an imaginative journey brought to life as liquid pools of light in a large floor mural, with some other special guests. You can also continue with your own smaller creation on paper, cardboard, or silk, using water paints / acrylics / coloured pencils / oil pastels using Olsen's later works. You may wish to offer your work for a second opening of the month-long exhibition of Olsen's works. Hey all, This meetup is scheduled every second Sunday from 3 - 5:30pm. The Dove and Olive serves a delicious Sunday Roast lunch with a vegan option and a full pub menu, so we'll reserve a table for 10. So come for Sunday lunch, a drink or both. Please make sure that you change your RSVP if you won't be able to make it. Please communicate with others on this forum and RSVP promptly and honestly so everyone can check whether there will be people attending each scheduled week. Bring your own yarn materials and ideas! Unfortunately we have had to introduce a voluntary $2 per meeting charge to cover the cost of maintaining Meetup as it has fees every 6 months.
