There's a term for this phenomenon: enshittification — the gradual degradation of platforms that once seemed like technological miracles offering us convenience, connection, and democratisation. But enshittification - the Macquarie Dictionary’s Word of the Year for 2024 - is just the surface symptom of something far more corrosive. Beneath the declining user experience lies a fundamental reshaping of our economy where a handful of tech platforms have positioned themselves as inescapable gatekeepers, extracting unprecedented wealth from workers, businesses, and consumers while accumulating dangerous concentrations of power — what some are now calling technofeudalism. Sydney Social Climbers is a group of social climbing enthusiasts who also enjoy a beer and a chat. We meet every Monday 6pm, at the Blochaus Marrickville climbing gym. Come find us next to the couches near the table tennis area! **What is Bouldering**? Bouldering is rock climbing without ropes or harnesses. The challenge is to climb short but tricky routes using balance, technique, and strength. It's a high-intensity exercise that strengthens many of the major muscles of the body, and in particular your core, back, shoulders, arms, hands, and grip. It can also help improve your sport climbing technique. Bouldering routes are set for beginners up to advanced climbers. This year we'll present a series of free lecture-style sessions so as many people as possible can obtain the benefit of a workshop in the space of an hour. **Writing for Different Formats** When should an idea become a novel and when is it a short copy?
