Mill Valley Pug and Frenchie Sunday!

In the interest of diversity and inclusiveness, Mill Valley Pug Sunday is now Mill Valley Pug and Frenchie Sunday. We meet from March through October on the 3rd Sunday of the month from 9:30 to 10:30. Come all Pugs, Frenchies, Pug and Frenchie Owners and Pugophiles and Frenchiephiles. There are lots of interesting food vendors onsite, but lines can be long—and **you could miss an entire music set while waiting for your food to be ready!** If you’d rather buy lunch there, the festival offers a **huge variety of food and beverage vendors**, with everything from Nepalese dumplings and Vietnamese noodles to Jamaican, Ghanaian, Mexican, Mediterranean, pizza, burgers, ice cream, and more. Bring a **blanket or low beach-style chair**, but choose something you’re comfortable carrying. We expect to move around during the day rather than establishing one permanent New Beginnings campsite. As part of the Jack London Farmer's Market, enjoy free community yoga in Jack London Square on the lawn in front of Scott's Seafood. For this event, we're collaborating with Rachael Hawk (@bookofrachael) for a quiet hour of reading in the sun after we complete our practice. **2-3 pm:** Enjoy a flowy yoga class led by a Nadia Oye. All levels welcome. Donation-based (via venmo, cashapp or cash). Bring a friend! **3-4 pm:** Enjoy a silent reading party. “Bridge to Breakfast Walk" from SF to Sausalito over the Golden Gate Bridge

**Join us on this 8-mile *Bridge to Breakfast Walk*™ across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco to Sausalito! Take one of the most unique and exhilarating walks on the planet. Make friends and get in shape.** The walk starts at the St. Francis Yacht Club parking lot near Crissy Field in San Francisco, crosses the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, pauses for a "bring-your-own" picnic-style meal together in historic Fort Baker, and continues to historic and quaint Sausalito. Your return to San Francisco may be had by Golden Gate Transit Bus or by Ferry. Although we usually return to our starting point before noon, you may plan on returning no later than 1 p.m. **Your host, Lindsay Spiller** (he, him), will be wearing a Cal cap and will be standing at the far end of the parking lot next to the stone wall bordering the bay. **Read Carefully this Information about the Walk:** * **Breakfast: Walkers are advised to bring their food and beverages (water and coffee if desired) on the walk. We will stop at and use picnic tables on the Marin side on the way to Sausalito** * **Total time.** Set aside about 5-6 hours (2-3 hour walk; 1.5-hour breakfast and socializing; 30-minute Ferry ride back to SF or a bus ride back to the starting location). By bus, you may expect to be back to the starting location by noon. * **Start.** St Francis Yacht Club Entrance (99 Yacht Road, San Francisco, California) * **Meetup and Departure times.** Please plan to arrive at 6.45 AM as we leave promptly at 7:10 AM * **Return to SF.** Upon arriving in Sausalito, you can explore the town, return by Golden Gate Bus Transit, or return by Ferry. The bus fare back to the starting point is $8 and may be paid by Clipper Card or Cash.
