Hi All, Hope you can come to the all-you-need-to-know about type 1 diabetes and all-the-type 1s-you-need-to-know meeting! And what better way with beer & pizza? Katie Craft from USCF Diabetes, Julia Philips from DYF, and I are co-hosting the E Bay Beer & Basals meeting. This is the former CarbDM "B&B" which we are continuing due to popular demand. Come to find out about the newest in diabetes technologies, devices, insulins, as well as practical tips and tricks for living our best lives. DIY Loop & DIY iAPS system users are welcome, although you don't have to be using any specific system or brand. All are welcome! **Join us for I Love Boosters, a "raucous capitalist critique" from Oakland-based writer-director Boots Riley on Saturday, May 23 at AMC Kabuki. Show starts at 7:15pm.** Please buy your ticket in advance. We will meet outside (or inside depending on the weather) at 7:00pm for quick intros and again after the show to gather before walking to a nearby bar/restaurant for discussion. Mission 5k fun run! | TBD

We host a weekly 5km run every Monday evening, starting and ending at a \*bar in or near the Mission District. We keep a moderate pace so no one runs alone – it's a fun run, not all-out. It is, however, recommended that you are able to run around \~3km consistently -- but if that's an issue, bring a buddy along or shorten the route to your liking. **The Black Water Returns** Winter has tightened its grip on the village of Hatuna. Sister Asta arrives at Billby Church bearing candles for the local parish, only to find the village unsettled by strange rumors. Laborers working near the frozen lake speak of eerie harp music rising from beneath the ice at night—music so beautiful it draws listeners out onto the frozen water. Sensing something unnatural behind the growing fear, Sister Asta calls upon her companions to join her.
