In the interest of diversity and inclusiveness, Mill Valley Pug Sunday is now Mill Valley Pug and Frenchie Sunday. We meet from March through October on the 3rd Sunday of the month from 9:30 to 10:30. Come all Pugs, Frenchies, Pug and Frenchie Owners and Pugophiles and Frenchiephiles. A Pool will be provided if it is hot. Costumes welcome. No meetings from November through February. The MV Dog Park is part of Bayfront Park in Mill Valley. It is at 450 Sycamore off of Camino Alto. Everyone, young or old, experienced or still learning, is welcome to join our California Native Plant workdays on the **first Monday and third Saturday of each month.** [Registration](https://www.eventbrite.com/e/alemany-farm-native-plant-volunteer-day-registration-155900126475) is required in advance\*\*. *\*\*Please only sign up for what you can 100% commit to and let us know ASAP if you do not plan to attend so we can open your space to someone on the waitlist.* Please plan to **arrive on time at the start of the work session.** **Volunteers will be required to sign a waiver upon arrival.** **Each person in your party** (including children) must be signed up **Bring a mask:** Masks are recommended when working closely with others. **What to bring\* --** we will provide all of the tools you need. If you prefer to bring your own gloves, hori hori, or clippers, please do so. * Mask or face covering * Water Bottle * Hat * Sturdy Shoes * Jacket with layered clothing underneath * Sunscreen * Snacks \*Travel light! The farm is an open public space and we have no secure storage for bags. Leave valuables at home and be mindful of your personal belongings, as you would in any park setting. **COVID-19 Precautions:** * We will have a hand washing station, hand sanitizer, and clean gloves available * Please do not come to Alemany Farm if you develop COVID-19 symptoms on or before the day of your volunteer shift (fever, chills, repeated shaking/shivering, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, feeling unusually weak or fatigued, new loss of taste or smell, muscle pain, headache, runny or congested nose, or diarrhea) * Please do not sign up for a volunteer shift if you are unwilling or unable to adhere to the above guidelines. # Chess Sundays at Its Your Move Games **We host a Chess Sundays here at Its Your Move every Sunday from 2-6pm.** It is a casual atmosphere for players of all levels. We play here with and without a clock on tournament style boards. We ask for a $5 table fee which lasts for the whole day, you can pay in [advance](http://www.itsyourmoveoakland.com/web-store-1) or at the door. Players are welcome to use our limited boards, (please bring your own clock and board if you have one). Food and drink is allowed. Every Sunday we also host a **Beginning group chess lesson** from noon to 1pm (first one free- after that $10) and an **Intermediate chess group chess lesson** from 1-2pm for $15. You can[ sign up ](https://www.itsyourmoveoakland.com/web-store-1)ahead for this or drop in. All levels of play and all ages are welcomed! Every Wednesday we host a youth drop in chess after school program. Best for ages 6 through 16 for beginning and intermediate players. The class starts at 3:30 with early drop off starting at 1:45 and late pick up until 6pm. The cost is $25 for drop in, (or you can purchase a ten pack for $200 bring the single class down to $20.).
