Easy Evening Sunset-Twin Peaks hike (4mi/700' elev. gain)

Join us for a scenic hike/walk from San Francisco's Inner Sunset to Twin Peaks via Mount Sutro. We will go up a long staircase and through a eucalyptus forest (behind UCSF). May be muddy, so suitable shoes and clothes are advised. This is an easy-moderate hike, 4 miles in length at most. Under 1kft elevation gain. We should finish in about 2 hours if not sooner. We'll then do a small loop hike of approximately 1¼–1½ hours before returning to the Canyon Meadow picnic area, or another suitable picnic area along the Stream Trail depending on availability. ### 🥗 Vegan Picnic After the hike, we'll spend some time relaxing, eating, and getting to know one another. Yosemite Camping - Tuolumne Meadows Hiking n Alpine Lakes- Flexible Dates option

Camping, Hiking, and Beach play at one of the most pristine spots in the Yosemite - around Tioga Pass rd and Tuolumne meadows. Spots are limited. People can do things on their own or with the group. Limited to one more car only and any additional cars can be parked in the overflow section closeby. Please respond to all the questions when you RSVP and I'll shortlist people for lottery based on who all meet the pre-reqs. Will reach out to shortlisted people with next steps. **Your spot is confirmed only after you confirm via venmo/zelle** and there's no refund unless the trip is cancelled, so please commit accordingly. Weekly Hikes at Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park

A Sunday at 3;00 PM moderate hike in addition to our regular Wednesday hikes at Redwood Park. This is a mostly shaded, 6 mile, 1000 feet elevation, moderate-paced hike at Oakland's Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park. Enter from Redwood Gate https://goo.gl/maps/PrGuttC8dEnxN1KC9 We meet at Fishway Lot (the first parking lot on the left). Fishway is a small, unpaved lot on the left, closest to the entrance gate. Parking is free and there are 4 parking lots. At 3:00 pm we start with a meet and greet; and each person gets to share 1 - 2 things that made them happy this week. Please be on time and get to know your new friends during the hike. We leave for the hike at 3:05pm. Route to be determined day of the hike. Hike is about 2 hours. We stop at most trail intersections along the hike to regroup. Please make sure to bring enough water and clothes and respect for everyone and nature. Join us for a weekly easy/moderate no hurry no worry afternoon hike in the redwood regional park. Fort Funston / Lake Merced Hike (Dogs Very Welcome)

In the south west corner of San Francisco lies Fort Funston part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. It features 200-foot high sandy bluffs over-looking the coast where the winds blow reliably wildly. One of the premier hang-gliding spots in the country. Dog Heaven, you will see hundreds of dogs through the trails and on the beach and owners will can take leashes off here. It is also home to the Fort Funston Native Plant Nursery. Sand Dunes: Plants with deep roots and a tolerance for harsh conditions are uniquely adapted to growing on a constantly shifting sand-dune landscape. The San Francisco peninsula was once covered with sand dunes, and today the peninsula's largest remaining dune field can be found at Fort Funston. Slowpoke Hiking group: this time Albany Bulb

I love hiking, but I've discovered that I can't always keep up with some of the super-speedy hiking groups—and honestly, I'm okay with that! The goal of this group is simple: enjoy the outdoors, walk about **2 miles at a relaxed pace**, and have a good time. No racing, no giant hills, and absolutely **no one gets left behind**. I tend to stop to take pictures, admire the scenery, or figure out what interesting plant I just found, so if that sounds like your kind of hike, you'll fit right in! **📍 Meet:** **Albany Bulb** **📅 Date:** August 22 **🕙 Time:** 10:00 a.m. (because I personally have a long-standing disagreement with hot weather!) There are lots of side trails, art, and amazing views. If you are looking to get your steps in, we can go around twice. I also checked and this one is super dog friendly. We start at a dog park. I will be were the parking lot meets the trail (look for the guy with the sign).

We meet at 10:30 at the Conservatory, leaving at 10:45. We will walk through the park, checking out what is in bloom, such as the Dahlias. Mallard lake, North lake, Blue Heron lake, (formerly called Stow Lake) for lunch. We will go to the Rose 🌹 garden and the return back to the Conservatory to end our hike. Bring water, lunch, clipper card. Fulton bus #5 will take you to 6th Ave and the park. It will take you back to downtown.
