Explore City's hidden gardens, 2 miles

* We will visit the City of London and 'discover' its hidden gardens. * We will start with the Christ Church Greyfriars where the ruins of a Wren church destroyed during the Blitz have been developed into a garden laid out to reflect the floor plan of the original church. * From there we will visit the Postman's Park, Saint Mary Aldermanbury Garden, Roman Fort Ruins, Guildhall Library, Guildhall (25mins break to see the Art Gallery and Roman Amphitheatre), Churchyard of St John Zachary, St Alphage Gardens (pictured) Barbican Water Gardens and Reflections Pond. * We will finish our walk at the newly reopened One New Change viewing platform opposite St Paul's. Optional lunch/drinks at the end of the walk. What to bring: Comfortable footwear Water Photo-taking gadgets and chargers An umbrella just in case (it's London after all) The walk is free for members who have subscribed for an annual membership. For other members the fee is £5 cash/card on arrival to contribute towards the organiser's meetup fees and costs. The annual pass option is £15 payable by cash or card on the day. This will provide access to at least 40 walks per year (members are welcome to bring a guest to each event). All walks are free for the NHS staff (also welcome to bring a guest). ***'No Show' Policy:*** *If the member replied 'yes' but did not attend the event, did not update the RSVP and did not inform the organiser on 3 occasions – this triggers an automatic removal from the group. That's once for events with a waiting list.*

Join our weekly Walthamstow Meetups and play some games with us! **💜Everybody Welcome:** We meet up every week to play a bunch of modern board games, card games and party games in pubs. If you would like to get involved, RSVP to the event. You can bring games with you if you like, although not a requirement. 🌱**Something For Everyone:** Whether you're a seasoned board game veteran or just starting out, you're welcome. No previous experience necessary, we go through the rules before playing. We play a range of games, from lighter card and party games to epic strategies. **📌Where:** We meet at the **The Village Club** in Walthamstow, which is a 10 minute walk from Walthamstow Central underground station.. As the space will stay open for the use of our group the expectation is that you will buy a drink or two to cover the cost of the bar staff. The food district only opened up 6 months ago hence that pristine appearance but nevertheless, they offer 15 different varieties of food and possibly cuisines from their vendors including one of my favourite chains.
