**Picnic time!!!** Our second gathering. Nothing fancy. No agenda. Just a walk on Wimbledon & Putney Common, good people, honest conversation, and since the weather is predicted to be good, a picnic. We'll meet at the benches outside the Windmill Museum at 2pm, walk for as long as it feels right, and from 3pm find a lovely sunny spot on the Commons to sit, eat, chat, and just... be. Kew Gardens: Photo Scavenger Hunt | London 20s and 30s

**On Sunday 31st May, we're hugely excited to be heading to Kew Gardens for another wild afternoon of social fun.** But this isn't just a leisurely stroll through one of the world’s most beautiful gardens - we'll also be adding a dash of fun and friendly competition with one of our signature photo hunts. If you’ve never done one before, it's like a scavenger hunt, but with rare plants, cryptic clues, and playful photo challenges designed to test your creativity and teamwork. Once the clock starts, you’ll have around 2.5 hours to explore the gardens and complete as many weird and wonderful tasks as you can - all while competing against other teams for a shot at glory (and prizes). And when the time’s up, we’ll regroup at a nearby pub to share stories, tally up the scores and crown the champions of the day. 🎲Games At The Pub - Make Some Friends At The Walthamstow Board Game Meetup!

Join our weekly Walthamstow Meetups and play some games with us! **💜Everybody Welcome:** We meet up every week to play a bunch of modern board games, card games and party games in pubs. If you would like to get involved, RSVP to the event. You can bring games with you if you like, although not a requirement. 🌱**Something For Everyone:** Whether you're a seasoned board game veteran or just starting out, you're welcome. No previous experience necessary, we go through the rules before playing. We play a range of games, from lighter card and party games to epic strategies. **📌Where:** We meet at the **The Village Club** in Walthamstow, which is a 10 minute walk from Walthamstow Central underground station.. When you arrive please press the buzzer to gain entry. Just say you are joining the board game group. Come say hello and the event hosts will get you settled in. The Village Club is a member's club but you can attend our board game evening without becoming a member. As the space will stay open for the use of our group the expectation is that you will buy a drink or two to cover the cost of the bar staff. Have you ever wanted to discover a variety of cuisines to choose from where you end up being spoilt for choice? If so, then this is the right place for you. Welcome to the food event where all of this is possible. This is your chance to select any cuisine of choice and converse amongst one another. With this particular event, we’ll be eating at ‘The Food district’. The food district only opened up 6 months ago hence that pristine appearance but nevertheless, they offer 15 different varieties of food and possibly cuisines from their vendors including one of my favourite chains. London Society TALK - Deep conversations Green Park

Have you ever wanted to gather together and talk about insightful topics which broadens your thinking and knowledge? If so, this may be the right event for you. Welcome to the ‘Deep conversations’ event where you get the opportunity to share your views based on the topics that we may cover. The last time this was executed, it not only went well but we managed to learn from one another which broadened our thinking. We have a new twist: The event will take place at Green park and it won’t be capped. The way it works is you’ll be numbered from 1 - 5 and then you get together in your groups based on your number. The process repeats itself after each topic until the event is finished so it’s opportunistic to interact with new faces and hear interesting views. With this particular event, the topics we’ll discuss are: * What does family mean to you? * What do you appreciate from your parents the most? * They say ‘blood makes you related and loyalty makes you family’. What’s your take on this? * Do you think character is important or time when it comes to knowing people? * Was there ever a time where someone close to you broke your trust and if so, what did you learn? * Name someone special who entered your life and changed you for the better. We get so preoccupied with daily life that we hardly have a chance to sit back and think as well as discuss many topics in such depth. When was the last time you sat back and thought about anything in depth which opened your eyes to so many possibilities and broadened your thinking?
