With the weather cooling off, it’s a good chance to appreciate the beautiful gardens at Inniswood. Bring your favorite brewed tea to share, and any fall themed snacks you want, and we’ll have a cup of tea at the picnic tables by the parking lot before walking around the park. Bring a personal to go cup if you want to fill up before walking.

SAVE THE DATE! ONAPA Annual Meeting will be held Saturday, September 19, 2026 Plan to join ONAPA for its Annual Meeting at the Dawes Aboretum, Saturday, September 19. Our speakers will be Jim McCormac, photographer and retired ODNR botanist, and Dr. Randy Mitchell, distinquished professor of biology at the University of Akron, specializing in pollinator research. Field trips will be scheduled near the aboretum, Newark, Ohio. More information and registration will be posted soon. Open to the public, members and non-members. This tour is limited to 20. * **Blackhand Gorge State Nature Preserve (Heath), with Bill Weaver** This preserve features scenic Blackhand sandstone cliffs carved by the Licking River, historic canal lock and evidence of the Ohio-Erie Canal and a variety of natural habitats.
