Stoic Get-Together (Aug. 2026)

These monthly "**Get-Togethers**" are centered around a theme or topic that attendees can discuss casually with each other. They usually occur every third Saturday at 9:00-11:00 a.m. ***in person***—outside in one of L.A.'s fine parks. Our Mission & Focus We focus specifically on mutual aid for DIY projects. We pool our resources, knowledge, and skills to help each other with car repairs, home repairs, remodeling, and various everyday repair projects so we can all save money and learn new skills together. Participation & Workspace Requirements Because our events take place on members' private residential properties, active membership is strictly limited to verified local residents with permanent, stable housing (homeowners or leaseholders) who have a private driveway, garage, or dedicated residential workspace to host or contribute to projects. Environment & Behavioral Standards To maintain a safe, healthy environment for everyone, our community is strictly substance-free. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy against smoking, vaping, cannabis, alcohol, or illicit substance use. We also practice respectful communication, meaning all group events and digital spaces are strictly profanity-free and drama-free.
