September 5, 10 a.m. In our class time, we will cover all the basics of making your own archery bow. You’ll learn how to select a piece of wood for making a bow. You’ll learn the basics of creating a long bow (aka self bow). You will learn how to determine the belly from the back, how to slowly reduce, how to tiller, make nocks, etc. Your goal will be to learn all the steps involved in making a functional bow. If you rush because you simply want to take a bow home, you might be disappointed. We will supply the staves for you to use, and we have extra tools. **If you have tools, such as sharp axe, draw knife, files, rasps, etc., bring them.** We do bring tools if you don’t have any. **In-Person Sound Bath with Chel** **Class Description:** Sound healing is the therapeutic practice that uses sound vibrations and frequencies to promote well-being by reducing stress, enhancing calm, and improving overall health. It's a holistic approach to relaxation and rejuvenation. I conduct one-on-one and group sound healing sessions. Using a variety of instruments such as crystal singing bowls, rain sticks, ocean drums, chimes, and bells. I develop customized sound healing sessions based on the client's needs. Integrating breathwork and guided meditation. **Teacher Bio:** Chel's Sound Journey was born from a deep passion for holistic health. As someone who has personally experienced the profound effects of sound healing, I felt compelled to share this gift with others as a certified sound healer. I created a serene space dedicated to fostering relaxation and healing. I am an experienced and passionate yoga instructor. Who is registered through the Yoga Alliance. I have 200 hours of training that I received from Yoga Six. I have experience in various yoga styles such as Vinyasa, Yin, and Restorative. I am a certified meditation facilitator. My mission is to merely help guide you on a path to inner peace. Using sound baths as the medium to awaken creativity, increase self-awareness, and improve clarity of the mind.
