Let’s enjoy the afternoon fishing by the Brooklyn Bay.

Sat, Sep 19, 7:00 PM
From Fishing 🎣 by the Brooklyn Bay.
5.0

Come to Gravesend Bay and enjoy the afternoon learning the basics of fishing in saltwater. You will learn how to tie hooks, cast your fishing rod and reel in a fish. Bring your own fishing rod or you guys may share the 2 fishing rods I have. Please note: All Anglers fishing in saltwater must enroll in the (free) Recreational Marine Fishing Registry. You can enroll in the marine registry at www.dec.ny.gov/permits/6101.html,or call 1-866-933-2257. We will meet in front of Wheel Fun Rentals (opposite Wendy's) located at Bensonhurst Park intersection of Bay Parkway & Shore Parkway, Brooklyn. Then we will walk to the water front located west of Wheel Fun Rentals.

This is a limited engagement of The Fisherman. Check out the trailer here https://quadcinema.com/film/the-fisherman/ **This screening is open to the general public so please check availability of tickets online.** **I can’t guarantee seats for our group.** From the Impact Producer who reached out to me: Attached below is the flyer your community can use. There isn't an option online to use a discount code. Anyone associated with Central Park Fishing must show the flyer while purchasing their ticket at the box office. Opening night will be on the 18th at 6:45pm. Director Zoey Martinson will present on the 18th and 19th for a Q&A after the screenings. Anyone outside of your community that would like to attend the screening, they can purchase their tickets online . Please instruct them to click on the time, which would lead them to the Fandango purchasing page. ———- The code on the flyer in person is ‘fishfilm’ for $2 off. I’ll be in front of the theater if anyone wants to try to buy in person but I’d suggest getting online.
