Pinelands Fall Foliage Kayak

Pinelands Fall Foliage Kayak

Sun, Sep 27, 2:00 PM
From Outsiders NY
4.6

**MUST REGISTER HERE TO ATTEND [https://joinoutsiders.com/events](https://joinoutsiders.com/events)** Experience peak fall foliage from the water on this unforgettable kayaking adventure through the vibrant heart of New Jersey's Pinelands. As the leaves ignite in brilliant shades of red, orange, and gold, we'll glide down the gentle, winding Mullica River, a serene ribbon of water framed by towering pines and bursts of autumn color at every bend. This 2-hour guided kayak tour puts you front and center for the seasonal transformation of one of the Northeast's most beautiful and biodiverse ecosystems. Expect glassy currents, mirror-still reflections, and the occasional glimpse of turtles sunning on logs, herons lifting off the water, and beaver lodges tucked along the banks as we drift through a forest painted in peak fall brilliance. Whether you're a seasoned paddler or dipping into kayaking for the very first time, this is the perfect way to spend a crisp October day fully immersed in nature's most colorful season. Once we're off the water, we'll warm up with hearty food and cold drinks at a local eatery before cruising back to NYC. **EVENT TIMELINE:** * 10:00 AM: Meet at The Standard Biergarten (Meatpacking) * 10:30 AM: Depart NYC * 12:30 PM: Arrive at the Pinelands and gear up * 1:00 PM: Launch and begin the 2-hour guided paddle down the Mullica River * 3:15 PM: Conclude the tour and head to a local eatery * 7:00 PM (approx.): Return to NYC All times are approximate and may vary depending on group pace and traffic. **WHAT'S INCLUDED:** * Roundtrip transportation from NYC * Kayak rental + safety gear * 2-hour guided fall foliage paddle through the Pinelands * Complimentary beverages on the ride home **WHAT TO BRING:** * Water shoes or sandals (required) * Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing for a fall day outdoors * Packed lunch and reusable water bottle * Towel and change of clothes (just in case) * Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen * Your love for leaves and a spirit for adventure **IMPORTANT NOTES:** * Proper attire is required for safety. If your clothing is deemed unsuitable, we reserve the right to turn you away. * A signed waiver is required to join the trip. * Please consult your doctor if you have any conditions that may impact your ability to participate. * Our adventures are full-day experiences. We do not recommend scheduling other activities that day, as return times can vary. There's no better way to experience peak foliage than from the stillness of the river, surrounded by crisp air, changing leaves, and great company. Spots are limited for this seasonal escape, so reserve yours now and paddle into the heart of fall.
