Bad Ass Sport Climbing @ Vent 5 🌊

Hey Climbers, Spring is right around the corner so let's get our climb on at Vent 5, along Stinson Beach so we could do some lead climbing and top roping. And hang out with safe cool peeps ;) Climbing at Vent 5 is literally climbing at the ocean level so if your new to this area it is breathtaking and a great place to climb at all levels **Communications:** We will be coordinating all communications around gear, carpools, safety, with regular weekly updates via a WhatsApp chat entitled "Vent 5 "). Text me to be added to chat at 415-401-5809. and Tell me your name! **Start time** (getting up early)The time to meet in the main pull-out where you park is around 8:30a.m. Experience shows us that if you get there past 8:30 a.m. You may not get a parking spot and may have to go up the highway or down the highway to a smaller pull-out and walk back to the main highway. If you get there late, it is your responsibility to find the trail through Mountain project and make your way down. Wear hiking boots or approach shoes that support a steep hike **What do you need??** \*Harness, helmet, grigri or atc and climbing shoes - If you have a rope, quick draws and anchor building gear, that will help. If not no worries. If you need to borrow a helmet or draws we got you \*Lunch, lunch and water - Sunscreen as it;s exposed and potent even with overcast \*There's no bathroom so toilet paper optional - Hiking or water shoes or approach shoes because it gets a little slippery on the way down and across the more wet rocks - **Carpools** It is highly highly recommended that you drive with others because the pull-out where we park is small and super competitive to get a spot So coordinate carpools in WhatsApp chat and let people know you need a ride or you can offer others rides and from where. If you are not on way maybe uber, muni or bart could be a convenient option to meet **Safety and Liability Disclaimer:** **I/We are not climbing guides. We are merely peers who have experience based on TR/lead certs, outdoor experience, classes. We share our gear if in good condition.
