Hike Blendon Woods Metro Park

Hi ladies. We will meet in front of the Nature Center and head to the two Observation decks. We will then hike Hickory Ridge, Ripple Rock, Overlook and Sugarbush trails to get approximately four miles total distance. We will walk approximately a 18 minute mile pace. Please wear appropriate hiking shoes.

Think: * **Yarn & Thread:** Knitting, crochet, embroidery, cross-stitch, hand-sewing, mending. * **Paper & Sketching:** Sketchbooks, adult coloring books, watercolors, bullet journaling. * **Digital:** Tablets, iPad drawing, laptop writing/design. * *Please note: Because we are meeting in a shared public space, no power tools, sewing machines, or high-odor materials (like strong solvents or spray glues), please!* **📍 Where to Find Us** * We will be meeting at **Columbus Metropolitan Library - Shepard Branch** in **Meeting Room 1**. Room is reserved under **CBUS Maker Meetup.** **⏱️ Timeline** * **1:00 PM:** Arrive, grab a seat, get settled, and do a quick round of introductions so we can see what everyone is working on. * **1:15 PM - 3:00 PM:** Open maker time! Sugarbush Trail Hike

Join us for a two mile hike along the Sugarbush trail at the Blendon Woods Metro Park. This hike was attempted earlier this year but was rained out, except for a few daring souls who braved the rain. This trail is a dirt trail with some roots and can be a bit muddy when wet but hopefully we will have nothing but sunshine! Join us!

Hike High Banks - 9:30 AM START

Hike approx 4.0 miles at approx. 17 minute mile pace. Meet in front of the Nature Center.
