Nakasendo Way by E Bike Tokyo to Kyoto about 500 km of cycle paths, back roads and forest paths, medium grade cycling made easier by modern E Bikes Cycling about 50km per day crossing two mountain passes, amazing scenery and fabulous ancient well preserved villages, think Megome and Tsumago plus Kiso Valley for those amazing thatched roof houses. Medium-Hard: uneven surfaces, need to take extreme care and be hike fit. Few get out points. We are heading out for a walk along one of Sydney’s beautiful coastal trails to take in the views and stretch our legs before finding a quiet spot to settle in. This event is all about balancing a bit of movement with the chance to actually sit down and get to know the people you are walking with. We will keep a steady but relaxed pace, making sure there is plenty of time to soak in the scenery rather than rushing to the finish line. Once we reach our destination, we will gather around a fire to share some stories and enjoy the outdoors as the sun goes down. This is perfect for anyone who enjoys hiking but often finds it hard to have a real conversation while on the move. Whether you are new to the group or a regular face, you will find a welcoming atmosphere and a low-pressure environment to connect with fellow nature lovers. The Sydney Gelato Circuit - Milson’s Point to Leichhardt!

**It's getting hot, it's that time of the year! Gelato time!** **We will stop at a minimum of 4 gelaterias, among the best Sydney has to offer.** **If you love gelato, this is the walk for you! Not only do you get to have as much as you want, but you get to use up the calories by walking them off.** **We will start at Milson’s Point at 9.30am.** **From here we will walk across the Harbour Bridge and around the coastline to Barangaroo, where we find our first stop, Rivarino Gelateria (I will think there is something drastically wrong with you if you don’t try and like their gelato).** **There is also an alternative near-by, Anita's Gelateria.** **From here we will head to the Fish Markets for Cow and the Moon Gelateria where we will stop for a 30 minute lunch. ✅ I’d recommend taking Friday, 2nd October off, chuck a sickie or POETS from work. Lots of things to do and see around the area. 🚙 I’m planning to arrive at the campground on Friday afternoon to get the campsite for the group on first come first served. 😉 🚗 Mt Victoria train station is about 10 minutes drive from the campground, Blackheath about 15 minutes drive, Lithgow about 40 minutes drive and Katoomba is about 25 minutes drive. ******************************************** ⛰️ Mount York Campground is about 6 km from Mount Victoria station, a natural site that at 1061 metres has commanding views over the western plains, many layers of Aboriginal and European heritage, several convict built roads (now walking tracks) and remnants of the old convict-built roads (1823-1829) can still be seen. 🏕️ The campground is a small to medium sized camping area, suitable for tents and caravans. BYO washing water, towel and shower gel. 🚗 The campground is accessible by regular 2WD with sealed road and carpark beside the road. 🛜 Mobile reception throughout the campground. 🏕️ WHAT TO BRING (CAMPERS): 🏕️ ⛺️ All creature comforts including camping gear - tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat or air mattress, blankets etc. 🥘 Food, snacks, drinking and washing water at least 15 litres, dish liquid, wash basin, portable gas stove, butane gas, fold up table, chairs, pots, pans, plates, cutlery, mug, wet wipes, rubbish bags, gazebo or tarps for shelter or cooking station and chill out area. 🔦 Torch or headlight (preferred), tent light, powerbank/charger etc. 🧥 Warm jacket, thermals, beanie and warm clothes. It’s cooler temperatures at night. 🔥 Firewood (if No Fire Ban) per bag per person.
