**First Meetup: Evening at the Art Gallery of NSW!** * **When:** Wednesday, 3 June @ 6:00 PM * **Where:** Art Gallery of New South Wales (Meet at the main entrance) * **Who:** Anyone aged 20-35 years old Welcome to our very first event! We are kicking things off with an evening visit to the iconic Art Gallery of NSW. This is the perfect opportunity to wander through the breathtaking exhibitions, soak in some incredible art, and get to know your fellow group members in a relaxed and inspiring setting. **NOTE:** This event is posted on multiple Meetup groups. **ABOUT:** Explore the sophisticated art galleries of Paddington and Rushcutters Bay on Saturday, June 6. Come along whatever your professional background! Tech, finance, law, real estate, hospitality, healthcare, retail, fashion - all welcome - whether you've engaged with art before or not. Feel at home. This tour will introduce you to Australian and international artists working in painting, photography and sculpture - covering a range of subjects. Listen to fascinating stories. Introduce yourself to each other, make new friends, interact with gallery staff, and have fun! **MEETING TIME:** 12:00 Noon – 12:10 PM. **MEETING POINT:** Outside “Bar Latte”, 29/235 New South Head Road, Edgecliff NSW 2027. The café is right next to Edgecliff Station entry/exit on New South Head Road. You are welcome to buy a coffee. **START AND PROGRAMME:** We will begin at 12.10 PM at Edgecliff Station and move towards Paddington. **NOTE:** This event is posted on multiple Meetup groups. **ABOUT:** Explore 20 sites of cultural significance recommended by the North Sydney Council on Sunday, June 7 - across Milsons Point, Lavender Bay and Kirribilli. Stops on this route will include Luna Park, Wendy's Secret Garden (created by Wendy Whiteley, the former wife of the renowned artist Brett Whiteley), First Nations design at the Coca Cola Place, the statue of St. Mary MacKillop (known for her work with the rural poor), historical landmarks and multiple site-specific installations in the North Sydney CBD. All welcome to this exciting, educational tour! Come along if art is especially new to you. Don’t forget to exchange numbers with group members and make new friends! **MEETING TIME:** 11:00 – 11:15 AM. **MEETING POINT:** Outside Milsons Point Train Station, at the Alfred Street entry/exit. **START AND PROGRAMME:** We will begin at 11:15 AM, moving towards Luna Park, then walking north. Come along to our **May meetup for the Sydney Nature Journal Club**. This is a chance to connect, spend some time in nature and journal together. I will offer some guidance to start. After we can share journal pages and ideas. **What to bring:** Bring along sketchbooks/paper and your favourite drawing materials (pens, pencils, watercolour, acrylic, anything you have). I will have extra materials on the day if you want to explore other mediums. \*\*Where:\*\*Centennial Park, Fernley Grounds near the Greenhouse cafe. **Cost:** Suggested donation is $10 annual fee, $5 casual fee.
