Unreal Meetup October 2026

Unreal Meetup October 2026

Wed, Oct 7, 5:00 PM
From Berlin Unreal Engine Meetup
4.7

It's finally time again to see what Berlin's Unreal community has to offer! And if you've never been, this is a good one to start with. We'll meet at [SAE Berlin](https://www.sae.edu/deu/campuses/berlin/), a well-known creative media Institute where Unreal is part of the curriculum! **Anyone is welcome - no matter if you are a professional, student, hobbyist, or just curious about Unreal.** ### **Agenda** 6:45 pm: Venue opens. Speakers get time to **test the setup.** 7:15 pm: **Introductions** and **presentations.** Introduce yourself to the others who joined to share our passion. We will have an ice breaker question, you can choose to answer that as well. 8:15 pm: Time for **announcements**. Are you looking for collaboration, a job or a discussion? Let everyone know! Then we'll have a **break**. 8:30 pm: More **presentations**! 9:00 pm: End of the official event. Usually, we'll head to a bar to **chat.** ### **Our Speakers** Talks come from anyone working with Unreal: games, film and virtual production, archviz, motion graphics, live visuals, installations, or something nobody's tried yet. Creative works are also about the journey, not just the finish line. More speakers may be announced at a later date, and there are always people who spontaneously decide to present. ### **Care to share?** Got something Unreal-related to share - an idea, a project, or advice? Whether it's to inform, inspire, or spark discussion, we want to hear from you! First time presenting? That's welcome here. A work-in-progress, a thing you figured out the hard way, or five minutes of "look what I made" is a perfectly good talk. [Join our discord](https://discord.gg/dazd5QbsHh) to message the organizer (Melih - DoDiyez) to get 10 minutes to present + 5 minutes for questions. Need more time? Please discuss with the organizer beforehand. Not registered? No problem! If there's room, you can still share something on the night. We do run a tight schedule, so a heads-up in advance makes it much more likely you'll get a slot. Ideally, you should bring your presentation on a USB stick or bring your own laptop to present. ### **Got questions?** Feel free to reach out! Contact **Melih** via [our Discord Server](https://discord.gg/dazd5QbsHh) or by sending a direct message to *dodiyez* on Discord.

Printmaking with Cyanotype

Printmaking with Cyanotype

Fri, Oct 2, 4:00 PM
From Berlin Art Workshops
4.4

Learn how to turn your drawings and photos into handprinted cyanotypes: deep blues, a spectrum of tones, and that unmistakable analog feel. What is this workshop about? Most people know cyanotype as "sun prints": a leaf on paper, leaving a pale silhouette. But once you know how to control the exposure, it becomes far more expressive. Working with shades of grey, a single print can hold up to 7 distinct tones, turning cyanotype into a beautiful way to reproduce your own art. Even from a digital image, the result comes out warm, nostalgic, and unmistakably hand-made. **Who is it for?** All levels. No digital skills required: the hand-drawn method needs nothing but your hands. **How does it work?** In this workshop you'll coat your own paper with cyanotype solution, prepare an illustration/design, expose it under UV light, and rinse it to reveal your prints. Everyone leaves with their own finished pieces. **How will you create your prints?** * By hand: drawing on tracing paper with colored pencils and crayons, or layering pieces of semi-transparent paper. * Digitally: preparing a grayscale file (Photoshop / Illustrator / Procreate), which we print onto tracing paper on the spot **What will you learn?** * How cyanotype works: its strengths and its limit * Choosing the right papers, coating them evenly with solution, and controlling the result * Preparing a hand-drawn negative on tracing paper * Preparing a digital file: the right grey values, how to set it up, and how to turn a photo into a cyanotype negative * Exposure under UV lamps, rinsing, and drying **What should you bring?** * Simple sketches or image ideas, monochromatic, with up to 7 tones * If you want to work digitally: your own laptop or iPad **What's provided?** * All materials are provided: solutions, papers, tracing papers, drawing materials, brushes, and UV lamps. * You take home your prints. * Ready-to-use cyanotype kits will also be available to purchase on the day. **What language is it in?** The workshop is held in English. **[Get your tickets here directly from Ron Nadel!](https://www.tickettailor.com/events/ronnadel/2303158)**
