🎨 **Shake things up and you'll see new colours.** **Please note: She Sees Art is a women-only group and event. Women of all backgrounds are welcome.** Why not mix up your weekend routine by joining like-minded women to explore art, discover new perspectives and enjoy a coffee and good company along the way? We'll start with coffee at **Sol Coffee House** in Haymarket before heading to **4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art** to explore two exhibitions: **Andy Ewing: Ancestor Spirits** and **Kirthana Selvaraj: In the Half Light**. The exhibitions close in mid-December, so I've added an extra November outing to the calendar rather than waiting for our next monthly event! **ART FOCUS** Contemporary art · Cultural heritage · Identity & belonging · Queer perspectives · The body & personal stories **A NOTE ON THE EXHIBITIONS** These contemporary art exhibitions explore cultural heritage, identity, queerness, sexuality, illness and the body. The works include personal and potentially challenging subject matter. Greenwich Art Trail

One of Sydney’s surprises is that there are so many unknown gems. And **Greenwich** — the hidden gem of an artists’ hub — is one of them. It is not only stunning with its beautiful water views, it is also amazingly charming with its artistic vibe. It is a secret hub for award-winning contemporary artists, illustrators, sculptors, ceramicists, jewellers, photographers and textile artists. Just surprising, surprising and surprising — all happening in such a small community. I took our AAA Art Lovers there in 2023, and I am so thrilled to discover that the art trail is back on track. Can’t wait! The first week of November, the time when the jacarandas paint the streets purple, the time when the 38 artist's studios open their doors to welcome us. Some of Sydney's finest art can't be found in a single gallery—it's discovered by wandering from one creative space to another. It's time to explore the artistic heart of Chippendale and beyond. Our journey begins at **Art Leven** (formerly Cooee Art), Australia's oldest exhibiting gallery dedicated to First Nations artists. We'll then continue to **White Rabbit Gallery**, home to one of the world's leading collections of contemporary Chinese art, before finishing at **aMBUSH Gallery**\-\-\-where contemporary art\, design and urban creativity come together\. And, there's more to enjoy along the way—**Spice Alley**, one of Sydney's favourite food destinations, where we'll gather for lunch and continue our conversations. Good art, good food and great conversations—what more could we ask for? **Our Journey** **11:30 am – CCC \| Crew Coffee Connect** **Venue: Krepe Creperie & Café** Meet fellow AAA Art Lovers over coffee before we begin our art trail together. **12:00 pm – Art Leven** Australia's oldest exhibiting fine art gallery dedicated to First Nations artists. We'll explore museum-quality works by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists while discovering the richness, diversity and cultural significance of First Nations art. **1:00 pm – Foodies & Arties Delight** **Venue: Spice Alley** A relaxed lunch together to share our favourite discoveries from the morning. **2:00 pm – White Rabbit Gallery** Discover one of the world's most significant collections of 21st-century Chinese contemporary art, housed in a beautifully converted industrial warehouse.
