Letting Go 45 Minute Session (In Person)

Mon, Jun 8, 10:30 PM
From Letting Go Center - Daily Letting Go Sessions

## Letting Go 45 Minute Session This is a guided 45-minute letting go session at **Letting Go Center**, offered both **in person and on Zoom**.' The practice is simple, but deep: instead of trying to think your way out of stress, anxiety, grief, anger, shame, attachment, overthinking, or emotional heaviness, you learn how to actually let the feeling move through. Most people don’t have a thinking problem. They have a holding-on problem. In this session, you’ll be guided through a structured letting go process: Notice the feeling. Stop resisting it. Allow it fully. Release control. Let it pass. This is not about forcing positivity, pretending everything is fine, or escaping your emotions. It’s about becoming honest enough, still enough, and present enough to let the emotional charge unwind. The session may include guided awareness, emotional release, breathing, visualization, silence, and gentle prompts to help you go deeper. You do not need any experience. You can participate at your own pace, and you can stop at any time. The goal is simple: to leave feeling a little lighter, clearer, calmer, and more free. **Location:** Letting Go Center 1030 6th Avenue New York, NY **Important:** This is a walk-up space. There are **4 flights of stairs** and no elevator. You can attend **in person** at Letting Go Center or join **live on Zoom**. Website: **LettingGoCenter.com** **Good for:** stress, emotional buildup, overthinking, grief, anger, fear, shame, attachment, burnout, or just needing a reset. **Note:** This is an educational and experiential emotional-release session. It is not psychotherapy, medical treatment, or a substitute for professional mental health care.

Tango Show at the Red Pavilion

Tango Show at the Red Pavilion

**An evening of Argentine tango - music and movement, each inseparable from the other.** A new generation of dancers and musicians in New York City are finding fresh ways to make the form feel alive - honoring its roots without being bound by them. The Barrio Tango Orchestra, thirteen musicians strong, fills the room with the lush, aching sound of classic tango and the restless poetry of Piazzolla. Alongside them, Latin Grammy Award-winning musician Pedro Giraudo brings a rare depth to the night - his playing warm, precise, and impossible to look away from. Watch as our tango dancers take the floor - two people in wordless dialogue, close enough to share a breath, each movement an act of trust and tenderness. Two bodies asking and answering, in the language of touch. [GET TICKETS](https://www.viewcy.com/event/gotham_tango_the_nig)
