Drinks and hikes at the Frying Pan

Hey everyone! Let's meet up for drinks at the Frying Pan in Manhattan. We will meet there on Wednesday night September 16 to chat about past and future hikes and outdoorsy trips over drinks. I will post my number in the comments the day of the chat and in case it rains and the bar is closed we will just move the event to one of the indoor bars nearby. Wine Flight Tasting at Terroir Bar (Tribeca)

Terroir is an iconic wine bar in Tribeca, with an extensive list of wines by the glass, knowledgeable staff, and a deliberately unpolished vibe. Their wine menu famously contains a dozen expletives and a few long rants about vineyard soils — a marvel to behold. As WSET students, we spent a lot of time at Terroir: agonizing over 3-wine flights, testing our knowledge before exams, or trying to guess an obscure grape variety. It was always fun. Summer Cookout by Leftist-Progressive Night Out

Come down by the water and eat some great food with good people! A $10 buy-in gets you food and drinks. We'll have burgers, dogs, sodas, and waters. Special accomodations will be made as much as possible. The Ross Dock Picnic area at the Palisades Interstate Park is a perfect spot to grill up some burgers and veggies while enjoying the company of like-minded people from different walks of life. There's a great view of the Hudson and the is usually pretty great that time of year! Make sure to bring anything you might need for a great day in the park, including but not limited to: Bug spray Chairs Preferred beverages Sun block Your kids Your pets Frisbees Drones Skateboards Whatever else you need for a great day in the park!
