We'll leave Saturday morning and spend most of the day exploring Newport, with its gorgeous coastline, historic Gilded Age mansions, harbor, charming streets, shops, restaurants and famous Cliff Walk. Newport has a great mix of history, scenery and things to do, so everyone can choose what interests them most. On Sunday, we'll take a high-speed ferry to Nantucket and spend the day exploring the island. Nantucket is a completely different experience, historic cobblestone streets, beautiful beaches, lighthouses, old whaling-era architecture, boutique shops, galleries, seafood and plenty of places to relax by the water. We'll explore the historic downtown, visit the Whaling Museum, rent a bike, head to the beach, check out the lighthouses, or just wander around and enjoy the island atmosphere. We'll be staying both night conveniently close to both locations. On Monday we can see everything we didn't have a chance on Saturday in Newport. And we'll be heading back toward NYC around 5 PM. There will be plenty of flexibility throughout the weekend, and we'll put together a full itinerary with suggested activities, restaurants, ferry details and things to do for anyone who wants to follow a plan. Expect a security screening — normal bags are fine, no glass bottles, sealed clear plastic water bottles only. Outside food and drink is NOT allowed inside Edge **12:30 PM — EDGE NYC / LUNCH or SNACK at the CAFE** Your ticket covers the whole journey. It starts on Level 4 with seven indoor immersive installations — Prism, Pulse, Skyrise, Reflections, Kaleidoscope, Infinite City, and Crystal Cave. Expect to spend 30-60 minutes here depending on how much you explore. Then a 52-second elevator ride to Level 100 and the outdoor sky deck — the highest in the Western Hemisphere, about 1,100 feet up. Highlights are the glass floor, the angled glass walls you can lean into, the Skyline Seats, and 360-degree views. **LUNCH AT THE TOP: Skyline Bar & Café is on Level 100,** walk-up, no reservation needed. This is our lunch stop and we're building real time in for it — plan to sit down and eat properly rather than grabbing something on the move. If heights are a concern: the seven indoor installations are the bulk of the experience and none of them require looking out a window. You can do the whole indoor journey, step onto the deck briefly or not at all, and skip the glass floor entirely — it's a spot you walk past, not something you have to cross. **2:30 PM — BOARD THE HIGH LINE AT 10TH AVE & 30TH ST** Short walk south from the Edge exit. Stairs and an elevator at this entrance. We'll stay on the High Line the entire way down to 16th Street — about three quarters of a mile. On a weekend afternoon with a group and stops, realistically 45-55 minutes. The path narrows to near single-file in places and this is its busiest window, so we'll go at whatever pace the crowd allows. The High Line is a park built on an abandoned elevated freight rail line. You'll see the original tracks embedded in the walkway throughout. WHAT TO LOOK FOR ALONG THE WAY: The High Line Plinth (at our entrance, on the Spur at 30th St) A dedicated platform for major rotating sculpture commissions. Whatever's up there is the current headline installation. The Wildflower Field (through the high 20s) The densest and most naturalistic planting on the park. This section deliberately recreates the self-seeded landscape that grew wild on the abandoned tracks and inspired the design. The 26th Street Viewing Spur Easy to miss. A steel frame cut into the railing that turns the avenue below into a framed picture. Worth stopping for. The 23rd Street Lawn The only real patch of turf on the High Line, with seating. Good spot to let everyone catch up if we've spread out. 10th Avenue Square & Overlook (17th St) An amphitheater built into the deck with bleacher seating and a glass wall looking straight down 10th Avenue. On a clear day you can see the Statue of Liberty from the top row. Best five-minute sit on the route. **3:15 PM — EXIT AT 16TH ST, ARRIVE CHELSEA MARKET** Stairs and an elevator at the 16th Street exit, which puts us right at the market's door. Chelsea Market is a food hall in a former Nabisco factory (this is where the Oreo was invented). Since we'll have had lunch at the Edge, this is a browse-and-snack stop, not a meal. Wander the stalls, pick up something small, and save room for the ice cream later. Los Tacos No. 1 — the crowd favorite, line moves fast The Lobster Place — raw bar and seafood Seed + Mill — halva and tahini soft serve Li-Lac Chocolates — NYC's oldest chocolate house Artists & Fleas — vintage and handmade goods in the back Plan to eat and browse until about 4:00 **4:00 PM — HEAD TO THE SUBWAY** Walk east on 16th to 8th Avenue, then down to the 14th St station. About 8 minutes. Take the A or C train DOWNTOWN two stops to Spring Street, then about a 3-minute walk east to 558 Broadway. **4:15 PM — MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM** 558 Broadway, SoHo. Twelve-plus interactive installations across three floors, unlimited ice cream samples as you go, a three-story indoor slide, a pink subway car, and the famous Sprinkle Pool. This is dessert! Unlimited ice cream samples are included as you work through the installations, so arrive with room. Plan on about an hour. Wear something you don't mind getting a little sticky, and note that the Sprinkle Pool requires taking your shoes off. **ABOUT 5:30 PM — HEAD HOME** Walk to the Prince Street station and take the N or R UPTOWN to 34th St-Herald Square, then walk west to Penn Station. About 15 minutes total. Visit to Dia: Beacon

Let's make a visit to Dia: Beacon, a contemporary art museum located in Westchester, NY. After viewing the exhibits on display, we can explore the town of Beacon and have lunch. NJ Singles Day Trip to NYC: Soulmate Photobooth, Dancing & Village Stroll

We meet at Newark Penn Station, ride in together, and spend the day doing three genuinely fun things with a group of people who all showed up for the same reason: to meet someone in real life instead of on an app. No icebreaker circles. No name tags. No one making you introduce yourself to the room. Please be on time — we can't hold the group.* **🚆 10:20 AM — Into the city together** **\- Transit to New York Penn Station\, about 20 minutes\,** Buy your ticket before you get there so we're not all in line at once. We ride together, which means the awkward part is over before we even arrive. **📸 11:00 AM — The Soulmate Photobooth** **The Missed Connections Booth — outside Santo Taco, 94 University Place at E 12th St, Union Square, Manhattan.** You scan a QR code, answer a short compatibility quiz, and step into the booth. It prints two strips: one of you, and one of the stranger the algorithm picked as your match. **$10.** It's the best icebreaker in New York. By the time we walk away, everyone's comparing strips and laughing, and nobody's a stranger anymore. **🌮 12:30 PM — Lunch around Union Square** Santo Taco is right there, and there's everything else within two blocks — sit-down, quick, veggie, whatever you're in the mood for. **We can stop by whenever. This is just tentative.** **🚶🏽‍♀️ 2:00 PM — Stroll through Greenwich Village** Down through **Washington Square Park**, then into the **West Village** — the brownstones, the little streets, the sidewalk musicians. Easy pace, lots of stopping, lots of talking. This is the part where the real conversations happen. About 2 miles total, all flat, and we stop whenever people want to. **💃🏽 5:00 PM — Dancing**\- TBA\. **No partner needed. No experience needed.** If you haven't danced in fifteen years, you're in good company — half of us haven't either. Come for one song and stay for six. **🌙 8:00 PM — Head home, or stay out** We'll walk back toward the train together around 8. Stay later if the night's going well — you're a grown adult, nobody's checking. *** **Who this is for** Single adults **21 and over** who want to meet people face to face. Our crowd is a real mix, and it usually lands around 25+.The vibe is grown, warm, and easygoing — good conversation and good music, not a college bar night. **Come alone.** Almost everyone does.
