Surf City @ NJ Waterfront

***Time to say goodbye to the summer, almost!*** If the weather stays put, let's do an afternoon near the water - and in NJ! Surf City Bar is ultimate waterfront style bar and restaurant in Jersey *City* with unparalleled views of the Manhattan skyline and Liberty Island. **Coming from Manhattan:** Take the PATH (various stops in the city, 33rd - 23rd - 14th +) to Grove Station in Jersey City. Followed by an easy 10-15 walk. A Visit to Central Park

Join us for a leisurely walk around Central Park, where we will take in the beautiful landscape and make a visit to iconic spots in the area. Our meeting location will be a high end cafe called 'Ralph's Coffee', where we shall fuel up on caffeine before our journey. Once the group comes together, we will enter the park at the 72nd St & 5th Ave entrance. Expect to see: the Conservatory Water & Alice Statue, Bethesda Terrace and Fountain, the Beach Volleyball Courts... with our walk concluding at Strawberry Fields. Interactive Live Music and Jam Session at pinkFROG Cafe - Brooklyn

Hello! Welcome to the pinkFROG Cafe Interactive Live Music and Jam Session. Every Sunday at 6:30pm we run a WORKSHOP for newcomers to get the hang of the Jam. We talk about concepts, techniques and what is to be expected in a Jam with no songs or charts, only creativity. At 7:30 we open the stage for the Jam and all musicians from all backgrounds are invited to come and join. If you are a musician you are welcome to bring your instrument and join us on stage. If you are part of the audience and just wanna enjoy the night, bring your most creative self and help us come up with ideas, stories, obscure references, anything you wanna talk about, and allow the band to make some live fully improvised music. There are NO wrong answers!! Everything you see in our videos is fully improvised!! Rollerskating and Waterpark at American Dream Mall Babyyyy

Join us for a trip to the American Dream Mall to do rollerskating and then the Waterpark. We'll do rollerskating from 2-3 then the waterpark from 4-7. The rollerskating ticket is $20 for one hour and rentals are included. We'll do the waterpark sunset session after that for $60. It will be a real BLAST!

New location! Meeting at Berkeley College, 3 E. 43 St. in room 402. We are moving the start up up a bit to avoid running up against the building close time (21:00) and potentially allow for more socializing. We are one of few Toastmasters clubs in NYC offering in-person meetings and we encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity for in-person communication and networking. Interested in improving your public speaking skills? Want to meet new people and engage in interesting discussions? Hoping to make new business and life connections? If so we welcome you to attend the next Greenspeakers meeting. Greenspeakers is a Toastmasters club that was founded by Green Party members to provide a forum for engaged progressive activists and professionals to improve their public speaking skills. Guests of all political persuasions are welcome and we have no official connection to any political party. All attendees will have a chance to practice public speaking and will learn helpful tricks to become a more confident public speaker and communicator. Hope to see you there! Let's enjoy Saturday, playing games outdoors at Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden in Astoria. Did you know this venue is one of the oldest beer gardens in all of New York (approximately 100 years plus old). I will be sure to have Uno and Jenga available to play. Little Island "Summer Sunset" Singles Stroll (AKA Date Walk) 20s-40s

Must prepay to attend.)* Scenic Singles event to meet, mix and mingle with others for a "Date Walk" at one of New York City’s hottest attractions – Little Island! Located at Pier 55 on Manhattan’s Hudson River Park, Little Island is a floating park full of greenery, open spaces, viewpoints, and more. Our "Sunset Singles Strolls" are an extremely popular way to meet others in a safe, outdoor setting. Enjoy a fun way to meet others while getting fresh air and exercise. This event very casual and non-awkward + our host will help to make introductions. During the walk, you will randomly be paired with other singles in the beginning then rotate at designated times so that you get to meet everyone participating. We'll make several stops along the park so that people can take pictures and admire the beautiful views. We'll circle the island a couple of times and then afterwards, we'll continue the walk along the Hudson River. Once the walk is over, you're welcome to hang out and exchange contact info with others. Experience all the components of the "island", nestled among flowers, trees and shrubs, along with dazzling views of other portions of Hudson River Park, New York City and the Hudson River. The landscape is diverse, with green lawns, small slopes, and winding walkways.
