San Francisco Green Drinks Monthly Happy Hour Meetup!

Welcome back San Francisco Green Drinkers!!! San Francisco Green Drinks is pleased to announce we are hosting our monthly **In-person Happy Hour Networking Event** on the **Second Thursday** **of every month**, at **Southern Pacific Brewing** \- a venue that should be familiar to our friends from Climatebase\, Work on Climate\, and others in the San Francisco Bay Area Climate Solutions Community\! Southern Pacific Brewing is located in a spacious warehouse in the Mission's industrial heart, that has been renovated into a bright and expansive brewery and restaurant complete with outdoor seating. It's about 6 blocks, or a 15-minute walk (less by bike!) from 16th Street Mission BART, so please plan ahead! Look for us at a table inside or in the Courtyard, depending on weather and crowds. Remember to bring your business cards, your positive attitude and your interest in discussing sustainability and climate change. Nametags will be available, but reusable ones are encouraged. Also, bring your cash or credit cards to pay for drinks. And be sure to tip our servers! As always, we encourage Green Drinkers to use public transportation, walk, bike or use some other form of low-carbon transportation to get to our event. Batteries Loop Trail - Marin Headlands – Plein Air

Hello MPAP members! We are painting outdoors at the Batteries Loop Trail in Marin Headlands. Along this trail loop (see photos) there are fantastic views of the Pacific, waves crashing upon Rodeo Beach, hills of the Marin Headlands, and if weather is particularly clear, one can even make out the Farallon Islands, some 30 miles in the distance. For those that want a little hiking with their painting adventure, you can take the South Rodeo Beach Trail down to South Rodeo Beach. **Meet and greet:** At 9:30 AM, we will be in the Battery Alexander Parking lot. MPAP artists Greg S and Sandy M will be there. **Show and tell:** At the end of the event around 12:15, we will gather back at the Battery Alexander Parking lot for a "show and tell" of our art work. **Amenities**: An accessible vault toilet can be found at the Battery Alexander parking area. Additional restrooms can be found at the Field Rd. parking lot. **Parking:** Free. The parking lot is huge. **Shade**: Bring a sun umbrella or sun hoodie in case it is a sunny day. There are not many shaded areas, but hopefully it’s cool given how close we are to the coast.

Bottle share!

Here’s the deal: We want to share good company and good beer! It’s a $5 corkage fee per person and Tom will open all the bottles and pour all of the beer. Please don’t bring any beers readily available at a regular grocery store. Please don’t bring your homebrew. Please bring just one 22oz beer (or a couple of smaller beers) per person in your party. The Willows also has a selection of bottles to choose from if you have nothing to share. **We are hosting a Monthly Movie Discussion Happy Hour at the Flying Pig Bistro in the Mission every 3rd THURSDAY of the month!** Join us for an evening of movie talk with your fellow movie lovers. We'll start by forming groups where people will take turns sharing 1-2 quick movie reviews of what they've watched recently (no spoilers unless the group decides it's ok). After group sharing is done we'll mix and mingle for general discussion. Please come prepared to share at least one movie review with your group. The Flying Pig has a great selection of beverages (including non-alcoholic) as well as food for dinner or snacking.
